Beta DP-700 exam opens today - become a certified Fabric Data Engineer
Hey everyone! In case you missed the announcement at Europe FabCon Microsoft are releasing a new certification pathway, this time for Data Engineers. If you pass the DP-700 exam, you will become a certified Fabric Data Engineer (Associate). Today is the day the DP-700 exam enters the Beta phase. What does this mean? A Microsoft beta phase exam, normally: - involves a heavy discount on the Exam price - asks you to provide feedback on the exam and the questions contained - some of the questions are 'less refined' let's say, so you have to expect this! - normally you have to wait several months to get your results More links: - DP-700 Study Guide - Exam homepage for the DP-700 (book your Beta exam, when it becomes available). So who is looking to take this exam? Are you going to take the Beta exam? Or wait until the exam reaches GA?

Spliting capacities per environments or zones
Hi falks, I am planing to create a capacity for dev/qa environemnts and a second one for production where we plan to locate the gold zone for semantic model and powerbi consumption. The question is, should be booth capacities of the same size? Should be the reporting capacity bigger than the capacity for data engineers?

@Joao Monteiro at the moment you can scale up or down a capacity but doing it manually or may be using a runbook but autoscale is not an option I think.
Medallion Architecture and Environment separation
Hi folks, I'm in Fabric, so I need some help in order to design the best medallion architecture based in the requirement that I need dev, qa and prod items. Based on Will's lectures, I made this diagram, but I require your opinion. Thanks in advance.

@Andy Vold good point. Just for let the community know that the two clients that I am working with are small companies, few Mb of data per day. Thoughts ?

@Dean Hall I know that arrows are missing but just checking if I understood the need of domain separations using what I just found "Fabric Domains" in the documentation. - One domain for data developers - One domian for bi users - Three workspace per domian (dev, qa, prod) - Am I correct? Thanks for all your help!
