Q & A with Erin Brophey November 13th
Wonderful Session! Many thanks to @Magda Prins-Nip for her wonderful playing of Bach and great questions. Lovely to meet @Dorothy Rubinoff and hear about her oboe journey. Many thanks to @Natalie Fulwider for asking her questions about colour in oboe playing. ( one of my fave topics.) Sending best wishes to @Christi Allison that her wrist continues to heal. Kudos to @Valerie Rollheiser for being open to me asking pointed questions. :)

@Erin Brophey I have thought about what I learnedwoth honour band, and I think the main things I learned about was really listening to others and also bringing out the parts that are needed in all sections. One of the main points that I remember withthis was a spot in a piece where I had a solo, then I knew that the bassoon had abit of a solo as well, so I made sure that I had faded back so he coukd be heard.
