BRING BACK AUDIO ROOMS!
That was the most engaging feature on the platform imo! i can only DM to 10 or so people a week but i could have multiple convos in a few minutes with the audio rooms why remove such a good feature? make it make sense!!

What are your best recommendations for building a community? I’ve gained 20 members in 3 days, but I want to take it to the next level. Do you think being active and engaging on Skool is the key, or are there any secret strategies you’d suggest? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

One Year With A Skool Community - My Honest Take 👇
Today (17th of Nov 2024) marks exactly 365 days since I started my Skool on Nov 17th 2023... So I thought I’d tell you what impact it’s had on my business, the gems I’ve picked up along the way, and my honest and unbiased review. A month before I started my Skool, I had closed down my marketing agency to go all in as a growth partner for coaches. I created my Skool simply to have proof-of-concept when it came to owning and running a community. I created a free Skool, and for the last 365 days, it has remained free, I’ve never made a paid skool (for myself) I simply just have a free skool → clients. Btw this was a little before the Hormozi partnership and true Skool rise, so things were a little more lowkey at the time. I did Skool outreach to get my first 100 members, we slowly climbed to 300 or so and then kicked into some organic growth. The 300 to 1000 member ride was quick and smooth. no ads, no funnels, no promo on other platforms. Just organic Skool growth. At one point we we’re coming in hot to the top 100 Skool communities. My community allowed me to sign some big time clients which was cool. systems and operations soon became the clear high performer of our service so I doubled down on it, and tweaked my Skool towards it. Our organic growth has slowed down and over the last 6 months, simply just because of the sheer increase in active communities or "options". However we've maintained a slow and steady growth curve of 2-8 members every 24 hours. Currently we sit at 1,992 members (so close to 2k in one year lol). Gaining 2.4k Skool followers has given me a small kick of social proof on the platform too. We’ve dialed in some deadly Skool workflows and it’s been a blast. Looking forward to seeing what year two brings. Another ripple effect is the $1,000 in total skool affiliates I just crossed, which is cool. I use skool a little different, it’s my free community, where I post content, give free assets and collect emails & ph numbers for my campaigns. it’s the ultimate incubator for my agency, hence the name ;)

$200,000 on Skool in 30 days (Avoid these 2 mistakes!!)
Just hit a record month & made $200,000 USD from my free Skool community. Total ad spend: less than $5,000. Here are 2 mistakes I see 99% of people on Skool making, including many Skool games winners who I spoke with in Vegas last week. • Mistake #1: Not having a free Skool community. Going directly from an ad/social media to a paid group looks sexy on paper, I agree. But the reality is: A free Skool community nurtures leads & gets them to convert at a rate like nothing else I've ever seen. With a free Skool community, you can nurture leads in 4 ways: 1) The DM's (auto-dm to kick things off) 2) The community feed 3) The classroom 4) The calendar All without ever coming across as salesy! • Mistake #2: Telling people to join your free Skool community. I used to tell people to "jOiN mY fReE SkOoL cOmMuNiTy!" but nobody was joining :( I thought it was an issue with Skool. But then I started doing something insane... I started leveraging human psychology and talking to people about their DREAM OUTCOMES and frustrations. I started saying stuff like: "If you want to achieve <dream outcome> in <X timeframe> without <pain/effort/frustration>, click here to download my new free training that shows you how." And then I'd link them to my free Skool community. Guess what happened? People joined by the TRUCK LOAD. Turns out, nobody gives a 💩 about your free Skool community - until they're in it. To get them to join in the first place, you need to use bait. The best bait I've found? Free (GENUINELY HELPFUL) stuff like courses, pdf's, etc. that help people achieve their specific dream outcome in a specific time frame without a specific pain point. Hold nothing back in your free content. Give give give. Upsell the DFY/Done-With-You implementation - but give away all the DIY instructions. Growth has been insane ever since I started taking the above 👆 seriously. $200,000 in 30 days!!! Hope this helps, Ted P.S. I've attended 5 Skool Games events in Las Vegas and even a lot of the top winners don't know this stuff... but once they implement it, they make even MORE money.

@Callum Schafer make the content (photo) of the ad focused on the results they will get once the join (ei, Tips & Tricks, Advice, Meet Ups, Walkthroughs, How To, Game Settings, Best Gaming Setups, etc, etc) Focus on what they get inside the community and not the community itself. Then instead of ads i would definitely ask people following gaming pages, on reddit forms, gaming facebook groups via DM before running ads, and then create gaming videos on youtube maybe.
Can course drip be tied to start of course, not date of membership?
Currently, course drip is tied to the day the member joins my group. That means that if I create a course today that consists of 10 lessons that I want to drip daily to my current members, it will only drip to people who join after the course was created and current members will have immediate access to all 10 lessons. This change will benefit all groups, members and students.

yea i agree this will allow the experience to be more custom to the user actions and not just them signing up
