I received this DM today and it reminded me of how I used to feel when I first got into the "Online Business" space... I haven't felt this way in a long time, though, because I found the cure. The cure? I went on an "Information Detox". No new courses. No new books. No new conferences. I just focused on taking action on BASE fundamentals. • The offer. Something people wanna buy. • The content. Something people wanna watch. • The conversations. Something people wanna engage in. • The client success roadmap. Something people use to get RESULTS. Here are some of the action steps that alleviated my overwhelm: 1) I created an irresistible offer to help people achieve ONE specific dream end outcome. 2) I created helpful content. I wrote down or filmed myself sharing what worked well for me. 3) I added in a clear CTA in my content. Something like: "if you found this helpful, and you want personalized help from me, join my free Skool community & I can help you on a free Zoom call". 4) I had great conversations with prospects in the DM's & on Zoom. 5) I built a fail-proof roadmap for my clients to succeed (& as a result, collected a ton of success stories) and helped them go through the roadmap, step by step. By taking ACTION on these base fundamentals, I no longer "got lost in the sauce" and no longer felt overwhelmed. I became a producer rather than just a consumer. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stop consuming MORE STUFF and just ask yourself: "Which of these above fundamentals should I focus on building or optimizing today?" I would love to get everyone thoughts on wether I should start trying to build out my skool community now and just add the content/value/features etc as I get feedback from my members? Or do I build my audience first through other channels/mediums and then bring that ready made audience into my skool community as members?
