Does anyone else feel this way? (see screenshot)
I received this DM today and it reminded me of how I used to feel when I first got into the "Online Business" space... I haven't felt this way in a long time, though, because I found the cure. The cure? I went on an "Information Detox". No new courses. No new books. No new conferences. I just focused on taking action on BASE fundamentals. โ€ขย The offer. Something people wanna buy. โ€ขย The content. Something people wanna watch. โ€ขย The conversations. Something people wanna engage in. โ€ขย The client success roadmap. Something people use to get RESULTS. Here are some of the action steps that alleviated my overwhelm: 1) I created an irresistible offer to help people achieve ONE specific dream end outcome. 2) I created helpful content. I wrote down or filmed myself sharing what worked well for me. 3) I added in a clear CTA in my content. Something like: "if you found this helpful, and you want personalized help from me, join my free Skool community & I can help you on a free Zoom call". 4) I had great conversations with prospects in the DM's & on Zoom. 5) I built a fail-proof roadmap for my clients to succeed (& as a result, collected a ton of success stories) and helped them go through the roadmap, step by step. By taking ACTION on these base fundamentals, I no longer "got lost in the sauce" and no longer felt overwhelmed. I became a producer rather than just a consumer. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stop consuming MORE STUFF and just ask yourself: "Which of these above fundamentals should I focus on building or optimizing today?" If you want to take action TODAY on something, try this. Cheers, Ted P.S. If you're procrastinating on doing what you know you should be doing, use Focusmate :) I'm not an affiliate but that site used to help me SOOOOO MUCH with getting work done.

Information overload is too real. Education without application is procrastination
New Feature: Report DM Spammers
Fed up of pesky people trying to sell you stupid stuff in the DMs? You can now report people directly to Skool. See you later Linda Mark.

Becoming the seller to the sell-ees
Heyyyy so everyone Iโ€™m sure gets their fair share of DMโ€™s from others trying to sell their services or products and how many of us chuck them to the side? What if there was a way we could become the seller to the sell-ee? Letโ€™s brainstorm! Share ways you think we could or if you have created a sale or brought someone into your community that was trying to sell you on something? No lost opportunities! Letโ€™s go!! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I just block instantly because they annoy me if itโ€™s a cold dm
Start now or build audience first?
I would love to get everyone thoughts on wether I should start trying to build out my skool community now and just add the content/value/features etc as I get feedback from my members? Or do I build my audience first through other channels/mediums and then bring that ready made audience into my skool community as members?

Iโ€™d say start free now but donโ€™t start another community til your traffic source is producing results
Restrict some courses for 7 day free trial members
I'd like to have a switch for locking some courses for people that are on their 7 day trial.

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez hahaha I just think that people on the trial will speed run the courses, even screen record then cancel the trial. That is unless they are specifically looking for community. Yea you can make your community attractive and they may realize they are looking for community buuuut many people just want the sauce from the courses
