I do like number 4 quite a bit too. I'd say number 3 is personally too generic of a background for me. But the sound design and graphics are great! I would definitely make it shorter 10 seconds or under. I reckon you could put this intro card after you introduce the video. An example would be how 'Linus Tech Tips' do their intros.
What would spend on an editor (and my current rates)
Hey all! I’ve been learning a lot from this group and have enjoyed the recent threads on finding editors. As an editor myself it’s a valuable insight. I would love to hear what those in this group would pay an editor, and what they expect for that. Here is a pricing structure I use for a few clients: < 1 minute (Reel) = $125 1-4 minutes = $250 < 5 minutes = $300 < 10 minutes = $425 < 15 minutes = $600 I’ve been doing this with a financial advisor for 4/5 months and we’ve seen steady growth in followers, comments and even a video with close to 50k views! https://youtube.com/@RetirewithJulia?si=JTS90h_Pfasl9UYp I am looking to go into a point system with one of them as a test. Each month they pay a flat rate for X amount of points. Video length determines the amount of points and there is a roll over. Luckily all of these can be easily tracked and automated.

I've recently been looking at finding a better way to charge clients as a freelancer. From what I've realised is that a lot of freelancers charge by time. Which as Stephen mentioned, punishes you as an editor hugely. As you don't get paid more for working more efficiently. I've seen a lot of different pricing formats through the research I've done. Some of them were... - Hourly - Daily - Package Rate (Basic, Standard, Premium) - Flat Rate - Project Rate and Value Based. Although, people say that's essentially the same as project pricing. This is the battle I'm facing right now. What "system" if I need to use one should I use and what prices? I started hourly for $60. But realised very soon how I wasn't being charged for the value I provided.
