What would spend on an editor (and my current rates)

Hey all! I’ve been learning a lot from this group and have enjoyed the recent threads on finding editors. As an editor myself it’s a valuable insight.

I would love to hear what those in this group would pay an editor, and what they expect for that. Here is a pricing structure I use for a few clients:

< 1 minute (Reel) = $125

1-4 minutes = $250

< 5 minutes = $300

< 10 minutes = $425

< 15 minutes = $600

I’ve been doing this with a financial advisor for 4/5 months and we’ve seen steady growth in followers, comments and even a video with close to 50k views!

I am looking to go into a point system with one of them as a test. Each month they pay a flat rate for X amount of points. Video length determines the amount of points and there is a roll over. Luckily all of these can be easily tracked and automated.
