Is GPT4 learning how to make better titles?
Well I'll be darned. I've found that AI is not good at coming up with titles - it's so on the nose and corny. But tonight chatGPT 4.0 actually suggested a title that I could work with. (It required a fair amount of input, but it got there eventually)

@Russell Scott I didn't need it either. It was an experiment to see what would happen if I pushed it past the first few bad results it spit out.
Reviews?
I'm about to release my third book for authors, The Plot Module, and it got me thinking that now might be a good time to ask for reviews of my previous two books. I will love you forever! Note that you get an ebook copy of both of these books (and the upcoming Plot Module book) for free if you're in the Story Hacker Gold membership, but if you don't want to do that, you're welcome to buy the books here on Amazon. @Andreas Walther I've recently read that you have to have spent a minimum of $50 on Amazon before you can leave reviews. Could that be it?
Art AI
Do you have a favorite for generating ART AI? I tried LeonardoAI -didnt like the results. I have been a longer time user of PlaygroundAI/Create -but they are cancelling this platform in Jan/25. In the meantime, I have been having great results with generating AI Art with MidJourney. I generate the Text to Art Prompts in Novelcrafter or Claude. I have used the Art images generated for my book cover images.

I like Dall-E, especially now that it has an in-painting option (select an area to regenerate, rather than having to regenerate the entire image). Midjourney creates beautiful images, but I always found its prompt adherence to be too low for my liking.. that could be because I wasn't prompting it specifically enough

@Judy Kelly good question. I think the Bing image generator is also powered by Dall-e 3 behind the scenes, if I remember correctly
Mira Gold and other AI Authors
Have anyone read books, "How To" write AI books like those from Mira Gold, Nova Leigh, and others?

I've read a couple. The ones I've read have been pretty lazy (just a bunch of chat transcripts copied and put into book form). I haven't come across one yet that made an impact on me
ISBN
Let's talk ISBN numbers. Do you purchase them as you need them? I don't want to spend $22 every time I need one, especially since I would ultimately need 4 for each book (ebook, audible, paperback, hardback) when for a little over $500, you can get 100 ISBNs. I know that is a lot up front, but you will have the numbers forever and don't have to worry about purchasing them for every project.

They sell them in bulk from Bowker. They're not cheap (but also not insanely expensive, i think i paid $250 for my first 10), but I've heard it's better in the long run to own your ISBNs
