Do Renounced US Citizens have an advantage over Non-US Citizens when it comes to business in the US?
If you already have businesses set up in the US, are you at an advantage over non-citizens if you renounce? You already have a SSN with history, etc. so I assume its easier to qualify for things ... or maybe get everything done in advance of the renouncement.

Dear James
Do you have a video regarding how to close down your corporation, renounce, and then start an LLC? Would love to know a painless way to transition. Also, what are the benefits for an Italian citizen living in Latin America to have a US LLC if all they do is invest in Forex?

@James Baker thanks for the quick reply, I'm living outside of the United States and on track for 2 other citizenships in the next 2-4 years. I'm no longer interested in living in the United States so renouncing is part of the plan. Your videos have given me insight toward transitioning from my S Corp as a US Citizen to an LLC after renouncing to continue my remote business with minimal taxation. This would also help reduce/eliminate my payroll tax.

@James Baker "For you the LLC would be most useful for managing and spending your cash in a business account" --- can you give more clarity to this for a Non-US Person? How much cash can you keep in the LLC if its actively being used in a Forex Brokerage Account without concern for taxation? Thanks much!

Hi James, I enjoyed your short. You mentioned Colombia, Panama and UAE. You also casually mentioned most South American Countries (Argentina). In this case are you mentioning these for residency and territorial tax? In this case I can understand Panama ... but Colombia and Argentina taxes their residents on their worldwide income .. along with several other countries. Looking here: https://htj.tax/2019/12/lets-talk-about-latin-america/ it looks like your best bet in South America for taxation would be Paraguay (which also has an easy residency program). Also, I assume this short is focused on Non-US citizens or citizens who plan to renounce. Can you fill me in a little bit more on your thought process for the countries you mentioned? Thanks much!

@Hh Ll Can you be more specific? Typically Non-Territorial Tax Countries tax your worldwide income if you're a tax resident there.

Hi James, You mentioned Immediate Mexican Residency + 2 years wait period outside of Mexico -> Citizenship by Descent as a Latin American. This sounds very beneficial. Do you have a link I can review for this? So far my research showed the 2 years after Mexican Residency must be lived in Mexico.

@Hh Ll while this is great information ... it does not discuss Latin American and Iberian Naturals qualifying for Expedited Citizenship in Mexico without living there. But thank you ... a great reference ... now need to pair that with Territorial Tax countries.
