Manifest! Empower! …... BURNOUT
Sorry for being mia! I was at an empowerment retreat. How do you balance family, business, growth, sanity, community, friends, travel and self? What are your tips and tricks. It was tough missing two important business calls, days of development, and having to jump back into family. I went from stress to instant overwhelm. Woooowee. I’m determined but this week was intense!!!!

Wow Julie thank you for being so vulnerable and touching on self-care and balancing the "F buckets" and life style!! I'm so happy the retreat was transformative!!!! Thank you for inspiring us!! I don't know if I have tips, only some 'tangents'/reflections on my own experience to share (unfiltered.. take them or leave them).. I noticed that, like everything else, self-care and self-love is a practice therefore, any little/ big steps helps and count. One step a time is big deal! I'm trying to re-learn doing things from a more relaxed way, ideally with flow, while being productive and focus.. (trying eheh) While I was living in Canada, I really add an incredible weekly routine of vyniasa, yin yoga, swimming and co.. I could drop in or visualize during the meditations and relax.. now within these last years, I though I've lost a lot of that.. but apparently it's ready to be reclaimed by my aware self in the lost&found area of my mind. In the past, I will get so frustrated and anxious for not being so productive and that I will 'lose' time, instead of having taken a break.. I would get into a vicious cycle in my mind(guilt, shame, etc).. looking back, I have a lot of compassion for that version of me and of my old brain, in which my traumas were the leading character directed by my former amygdala, a bit too 'greedy'. Like in yoga, I feel we won't get into the flow and connection with our breath right away, but through transitions (pade, pade/ step by step, breath after breath).. may be in the beginning our bodies and minds are rigid, but by the end of the practice we will feel more whole and connected, so present and so less preoccupied with the to-do-list.. maybe at times we can't sense such a big difference, but we were intentional or at least we tried. I tend to be more focused when I am more embodied and more willing to do a task per time.. I realized after I quit my architectural career that I'm allergic to multitasking, yet I can fully be present for another person if needed. And from what you shared in the past, we all know your clients are blessed.
3 things that make me unique:)

@Larisa Bludova Wow, cool plan! I once went to Ibiza for a mini break and I discovered the zen/ holistic side of the island.. really special.. I might go in the near future either there or Mallorca to attend some retreats and see the potential. I'm currently living in Florence (Italy), which is beautiful, yet, since the covid restrictions were gone it went back to the 'lunapark' vibe.. I'm a budding artist.. still learning a lot, my main thing is clay sculpting. I guess using clay is my way to reconnecting to mother earth. I will so open the art ig profile, now my focus it's on the art therapy one. ps: if you organize a retreat in Ibiza, let me know :)

💀 Shakespearian dilemma 💀
#Creating Your Policies I feel sometimes I still deal with a bit of reversed cultural shock, aka I still find hard to professionally re-adapt to Italy having living both in the States and Canada.. So far, I haven't seen that applied in Italy.. from doctors to any type of therapist they are very flexible with clients's delays or cancellations.. clients sometimes the advantage of that.. On the other hand, when I lived in Vancouver (BC) a physiotherapist wanted a 3 days notice for cancellation. My gut is suggesting me that a 24 hrs reschedule/ cancellation policy fits me, as I feel I will need boundaries to actually being able to be fully present with my clients, yet I wonder if people will understand that. no policies= pros: more flexibility /understanding for clients, less rigidity cons: possible chaos, resentment, anxiety about delays/getting payed, etc policies = pros: more structure/ organization/ time and space to focus on the important stuff, aka coaching people cons: more rigidity for clients last minute changes.. sometimes life happens unexpectedly I realized in my case this dilemma is related also to how much to charge.. ommmm

@Julie Edwards Thank you for your words and for sharing your policies. It does help already to exchange opinions on that.. I feel where I live people don't have clue how individuals in other countries work..

No policy is the right policy for me
#Creating Your Policies Jk jk jk It’s good to know there’s no right or wrong in creating our policy. I’ve always been afraid to p,ave policies because I’m a softy. I know now that was taking away my value, and not holds, others accountable. I think clarity shows professionalism and commands quiet respect. Cancelations 24 hours before session\ course begins. .Refunds Refunds will not be given for any reason once session/course starts. No refunds will be given for no-shows or cancellations within less than 24 hours. Communication Communication will be done via email and requested to be kept to a minimum for important questions and guidance only. Primary communication will be done one on one in session or in the course community. Please refer to your community for feedback and input as well as clarification. One on one sessions will be individualized and that will be the time for more in depth communication and questions to myself. Missed payments Missed payments or non-payment arrangements need to be scheduled ahead of time. All payments are expected due at the time and date of billing set up in the beginning of your session/course. All messed or non-payment fees will be paid with in billing month. Payment is due at time of service. Please contact immediately for emergent hardships. Rescheduling Rescheduling for sessions must be done at least 24 hours in advance preferably within three days. This allows me to place another client into your spot and ensure we get another session set for you as well in a timely manner. The only time I will entering with a contract will be if I work with a business renting a room to do my in person healing, or if I’m not working with a hospital for services. If I outsource any of my zones I definitely will be using a contract.

I won’t sell
#Heart Based Sales I think for myself I’ve had a lot of blocks in the past from trying to have the sales mindset. The previous couches that I had in business were really pushing the sales aspect of things in our calls and in her interactions. I decided I needed to let that go and the mindset has shifted to just sharing my past my path my experience is my success based on what I’m doing. I think I’ve learned a more natural way to interact and I’m hoping that this will help me in the “selling“ Instead of viewing it as selling to them I am bringing them with me on an investment journey to wellness.
