💀 Shakespearian dilemma 💀

I feel sometimes I still deal with a bit of reversed cultural shock, aka I still find hard to professionally re-adapt to Italy having living both in the States and Canada..

So far, I haven't seen that applied in Italy.. from doctors to any type of therapist they are very flexible with clients's delays or cancellations.. clients sometimes the advantage of that.. On the other hand, when I lived in Vancouver (BC) a physiotherapist wanted a 3 days notice for cancellation.

My gut is suggesting me that a 24 hrs reschedule/ cancellation policy fits me, as I feel I will need boundaries to actually being able to be fully present with my clients, yet I wonder if people will understand that.

no policies= pros: more flexibility /understanding for clients, less rigidity

cons: possible chaos, resentment, anxiety about delays/getting payed,

etc

policies = pros: more structure/ organization/ time and space to focus on the

important stuff, aka coaching people

cons: more rigidity for clients last minute changes.. sometimes life

happens unexpectedly

I realized in my case this dilemma is related also to how much to charge.. ommmm
