Reading between the lines (of this video)
#Use Chat GPT to Get a Job I hope I never have to apply for a job again, but this video opens up the potential to use GPT as a virtual assistant, one you can converse with to refine your ideas on any number of topics, needs, or projects. With GPT 4 just being released, the possibilities seem to grow exponentially. More than just "getting a job," this video reveals several ideas on how GPT can become an integral part of any business or project development phase.

Welcome to the Group!
With 100 million plus people using Chat GPT now I decided it would be a good idea to bring together a community of people from around the World who were using Chat GPT so we can all get better at utilising this amazing tool. Everyone is welcome here and it would be great if you can introduce yourself by letting us know your name and what you primarily use Chat GPT for at the moment!

@Kiyotaka Ayanokoji That's exciting. I have been on the web forever (1999), but for the life of me SEO has never been my strong suit. I like the idea that GPT can assist with SE), as I just make stuff. I rite, shoot movies, design products, teach. All of these things need better marketing than I have given them, so SEO seems to be the obvious path, but without a digital assistant like GPT, it seems a long road of distraction. I m hoping GPT will help us master the art of SEO.

@Aaron Ross That's another great example. I have dabbled in marketing email creation with AI, but I haven't fully leaned into it yet. I think this is one of the most productive use cases that still allows genuine human content creation of salable information. AI assisted marketing only makes sense these days.
nice prompt
"-------------- Write an article about [TOPIC] in human-like style, using contractions, idioms, transitional phrases, interjections, dangling modifiers and colloquialisms, and avoiding repetitive phrases and unnatural sentence structures. Incorporate a variety of figures of speech and add more emotive language to bring out a more expressive tone. Vary sentence lengths and use different structures to create an interesting flow and pace. The temperature should be set to 1.5 to produce a creative and expressive output. -------------"

Thanks for sharing this complex prompt! What do "temperature" one "1.5" refer to? I am noo to all of this.
time saving
#AI Prompts Database Really helpful - there is a prompt that tells you how to generate prompts on chatGPT, which saves loads of time and saves money buying lots of other prompts I'm hoping.

I think the point of this course is to save us all a lot of money buying prompts. It seems that is the easy way at first, but just like "learning" any new discipline, it makes us consumers off other people's content. So far I am liking the course content, and I am anticipating that a little brain-work now will make (a) us all less reliant on other people's work, and (b) able to spot invaluable tools (great prompts to help us streamline our own work) from obvious cash grabs. If I were to make one prediction it would be unsurprising: GPT is going to be the next scammy hot new item on the internet, and the best defense will be to have a baseline knowledge of how to create our own high-value prompts. But yes to seeing what other people have done already, and using them when they are viable and profitable. πŸ˜€

Okay, I know how I'm spending the rest of the day. btw, the old lessons were also a great warmup to the concept of GPT. I think the hardest part so far was the initial "what is all of this and how do I even get caught up" conundrum that has prevented everyone (I personally know to whom) I have talked with from even considering trying out GPT.
