Hey everyone! Just a reminder I will be ending this group and focusing on my YouTube channel which seems to be much more helpful to people. Make sure to follow me there, and message me your email so we can stay in touch if we are not already :) https://www.youtube.com/@drewvanzee3063 PS - what would you like me to cover in my next video?

ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey Everyone! I hope this message finds you well. I created this group to build a bit of a community for those over 50 struggling with knee pain, but it turns out that my YouTube channel and Instagram account is where most of the action is. And when I try to do too many things I end up not doing them well, which leads to shoddy work, low engagement, and less real value for you! So, moving forward I will just be focusing on my youTube channel and Instagram account, and if you’re on my email list you will get a lot of great stuff from there every week as well :) If you’re not on my email list you’re welcome to send me a message with your email and I will add you. If you’re not following my youTube channel, click here and subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/@drewvanzee3063 Let me know if you have any questions, and i much appreciate you’re interest in my work!

Movement for the week!
Hey everyone! I know there’s a lot of anxiety about the election happening in the US today. So, rather than being stuck feeling anxious sitting in front of the TV, take a break and give your body some much needed love and attention :) Here’s on of my YouTube videos where I coach you through a handful of my favorite mobility exercises. Take a break, follow along, and let me know how you feel afterwards? https://youtu.be/EIBec6DpYTo?si=TWKaKVMR8HGJXlRV

Movement for the week!
Knee Pain & “Blurry Maps"
I'm often asked, "What makes your work so different?" The truth is, if you are stretching and strengthening your muscles, and you're not seeing an improvement in your knee pain, you're missing something. That missing element is exactly what I help my clients see and develop. Here's a way to think about it... Imagine we plan to meet for coffee, and you have to drive to me. You will likely use a map on your smartphone. That map will tell you exactly where you are, where to turn etc. And that clarity will give you confidence, right? When it comes to pain, your body works the exact same way. To move well, your brain needs a clear map of your body. And that map involves: 1. Movement of your joints and nerves 2. Healthy functioning of your inner ear for balance 3. Good eyesight and visual skills IF, you have knee pain, it's because one or more of these systems are not working well, and that "map" that your brain relies on is disconnected. Does this make some sense to you? Let me know and I can try to explain it further :)

@Sue Holstein Everybody is different, so what helps you feel and move better may be a bit different than what helps “Karen” overcome knee pain. So, keep that in mind. However these exercises help the majority of people. So I would encourage you to think about your technique as that can make a world of difference :)
