Search for a local church
Honestly since I've following apostle Richard Lorenzo and joined and been attending RROC online services and community for the past 2-3 weeks I've been really loving it and really enjoyed everything. It definitely made me get closer to God and eager to build a more personal relationship with him with reading my Bible daily and praying to him. I will continue doing so but as I think apostle Richard said one should still have a local church.. I've started looking into this church (it's a non denominational church) that's close to my area, from what I've read and the videos I've watched on their services it seems legit and real to practice the real word of God and not just religion but their main service is on Sundays and not Saturdays like RROC.. Thoughts on that, is that Ok, in terms of following the Sabbath Please church's website here, I'd like to hear your thoughts please, thanks. https://linktr.ee/beautybehindgospel?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAabfzfjcD6F2V6mtXEaKdFDO39kfNrHNDtrlXi3iLPGeG_kHYWnGIBNrpP4_aem_QmsCAQFVnwfPz8NmRPrctg

If God is Good and All-Powerful, Why Does He Allow Suffering? πŸ€”
There are several reasons why suffering exists despite God's loving and all-powerful nature, which we can find in The Word. One reason is that God gives humans free will, allowing them to make their own choices. This freedom permits true love and moral decisions but also opens the door for evil and suffering (Deuteronomy 30:19). πŸ™ Suffering also helps people grow spiritually and develop virtues like patience and compassion, as mentioned in Romans 5:3-4. 🌱 Additionally, suffering is also a result of living in a fallen world, broken by original sin when humanity turned away from God (Genesis 3:17-19). 🌍Another perspective is that suffering is part of a bigger plan that we can't fully understand but ultimately serves a greater good, as noted in Romans 8:28. πŸ“œ Suffering can also be a test of faith, illustrated by the story of Job (Job 1:21-22). πŸ›‘οΈ Furthermore, God promises to be with those who suffer, providing comfort and strength (Psalm 23:4). πŸ’ͺ Christians also believe that suffering is temporary and will be overcome in a new, perfect world without pain or tears, as promised in Revelation 21:4. 🌟Suffering can result from natural events like illness and disasters, which are part of living in a physical world (Matthew 5:45). 🌧️ Much suffering is caused by human actions, such as violence, injustice, and neglect, stemming from moral failures and societal issues (James 4:1-2). πŸ•ŠοΈ Lastly, some suffering remains a mystery and is beyond our understanding, as acknowledged in Isaiah 55:8-9. These different explanations help us make sense of why suffering exists in the world, and its important to know that through it all, God will use it all for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

@Rosabell Rivera amen sis. Even when we don't see that he's working, even when we don't feel that he's working, God is always working πŸ™πŸ½
Is it Ok to do breathing exercises as a Christian?
Is it Ok to do breathing exercises as a Christian? I know we shouldn't do yoga and also practice meditation the same way people of the world does it as we should be meditating on the bible, the word of God instead. But what about just doing breathing exercises for relaxation and stress relief? There are known scientific studies that mindful breathing exercises help with lowering cortisol levels which helps lower stress.

@Sanne Xo seriously? Just breathing exercises? Breathing in and out, holding your breath for a few secs then breathing out for a few secs, repeating?

@Sanne Xo what's your best way of asking the Holy Spirit about things like these? I keep seeing people and hearing people saying God told them this, and God told them that, how do God actually talk to them, is it an audible voice or more like a calm consistent thought in their heads? How do you hear the Holy Spirit?

@Sally Taylor agreed. I feel the same way. Tbh I don't even wear it and don't think I've ever worn it. I got it years ago when I was heavily into jewelry and fashion. I think I'm going to throw in the thrash, no use for it.. I'd rather wear a necklace with just the cross. Because as we know he is risen! Amen
Question quick
How many of you all are willing to die for Jesus?

I am πŸ™πŸ½. I just pray that it may be a quick death, and not like a slow painful torturous one πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ
