I am looking to shape my sound and looking for help on how to sound more like Kurt Cobain, Scott Weiland, Van Morrison, Morgan Wallen, Tyler Childers, & Zach Bryan, etc. Here is a video of an attempt about 1 year ago. I have more recent videos on my Youtube. Thanks for any help. https://youtu.be/Fb3yh6YKNBc?si=s_JnLHHg4buFJfe0

Whats up! I am Dave from Central PA. I perform unique covers of popular tunes from a wide variety of genres mostly rock. I have been playing guitar since 2009 but was afraid to go out until I did an open mic in early 2019. Got a gig that night from the place and haven’t stopped since.. Looking to build more style in my rock voice.. Trying to build a style combining Kurt Cobain, Scott Weiland, Van Morrison, etc!

@Draven Grey Do you know how I might fast track myself toward that goal of shaping my sound? I currently do larynx dampening, straw phonation, and I am also doing Lunte’s belting in the head voice exercises..As far as developing the style I just sing along with the singers I want to sound like and try to copy them a bit.. 🤷
