Transitioning from a Free to Paid Community. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
I'm planning my future skool communities and wanted to ask the best advice on how to transition smoothly from offering a free to paid community. Is it best just to offer paid content within the free group? Or make a paid community altogether? What's everyones thoughts?

@Heather Coffin Thank you so much. This is awesome. Extremely helpful! Kind of amazing this capability isn't explained clearly and succinctly elsewhere. Seems to me most people are using two communities, a free and a paid, which seems far more convoluted to me than being able to migrate people from free to paid inside the same community dedicated to a specific topic. Thanks again.

@Heather Coffin wow. So you allow people in your free group to purchase access to different levels inside that group, and then, after that, migrate them to a different group?
Can You Charge for Skool Levels?
This seems like an obvious question, but when I searched it here, I came up with nothing. Is it possible to have one Skool community for a particular topic, where the first level or two are free, but then people pay to access higher levels of content?

Thank you, @Thomas Jordan. I know that it's possible to unlock different levels within the classroom. I was wondering if we have the ability to charge for different levels. Is that something that you're doing?

Yes, @Chip Woodson. That's what I've noticed as well. It seems to be possible to charge for a specific lesson and then manually open it up for a person, but I don't want to migrate my entire course to Skool and then find out that approach is not allowed. Dealing with FBs changing rules is enough of a pain for me, thanks!
Is it feasible to pause my community temporarily? ๐Ÿ™
Hello everyone, I run a community on Skool and I will need to sunset my Skool group at the end of this month due to my upcoming kidney stone surgery. Before moving forward, I have some important questions and would appreciate your insights: 1. Is it feasible to pause my community temporarily? If yes then let me know the process. 1. Upon restarting the group, will I be able to retain all current members (I've 1,000+ members in my community) , OR will I need to rebuild the community from scratch? Understanding these dynamics is crucial as I plan for the future, potentially restarting the community once circumstances allow. Thank you for your time and input. Your feedback will be invaluable in guiding my next steps. Warm regards, Raj

@Raj Tanwar Thank you. Please let me know if you think itโ€™s worth having a conversation before you pause your community or cancel your subscription. I hate to see worthwhile projects disappear.

@Raj Tanwar Cool. I'll DM you so we can figure out the best way to continue the conversation.
Change "Classroom" tab to "Courses"?
We think "Courses" is more intuitive. What do you think?

I vote Courses. Classroom can carry a lot of baggage from childhood, like the smell of the school, the sound of the bell, and having to raise your hand if you want to use the rest room. Classrooms are for kids. Courses are for grown ups.

Iโ€™d like to change my vote from Courses to what @Michel Lejeune said. โ€œEverybody happy.โ€

Yes, I love the idea of showing daily streaks. Just getting people to show up consistently would be a good first step.

I help people who are great at what they do, get more of the clients they need to do it. Interested in connecting with smart, focused business owners.
