Transitioning from a Free to Paid Community. 🔥
I'm planning my future skool communities and wanted to ask the best advice on how to transition smoothly from offering a free to paid community. Is it best just to offer paid content within the free group? Or make a paid community altogether? What's everyones thoughts?

@Richard Peralta Thanks for this, it really easily explains how we can use skool for our businesses and bring in traffic effectively but also where our focus should be 🔥
Looking Ahead: Where Do You See Yourself on Skool in 1 Year? 🌟
There’s a lot of focus on the here and now at Skool, on sales, conversions, and growth. But for those of us with products or services that require a longer onboarding or involve larger investments, it’s helpful to take a longer view. A quick glance at October's leaderboard shows that the top 10 have been active for nearly a full year on average. It got me thinking 🤔 where do you see yourself and your Skool presence by October 2025? Let’s bounce around some ideas and visions for the long term! What would you like to achieve or build here in the next 12 months? Share your thoughts below, I’d love to hear where you’re headed!

Running a free and paid community- whilst providing support on biweekly Masterclasses too 🔥 I want to be making at least £1000 from Skool by then 💪🏻

Skool's Mission
Is to help 1 billion people find community. I posted this in Skool Games and was surprised people didn't know it so thought I'd share it here too.

Love this 🔥 It's surprising how many people don't have a community in the online business industry!
Onboarding LinkedIn Contacts to Skool: Challenges & Solutions
I’ve recently started inviting some of my LinkedIn contacts to join my Skool community, and I’ve noticed a few recurring challenges in this transition: 1. Lack of Familiarity with Skool: Many of my contacts simply don’t know what Skool is, and they’re hesitant to sign up for yet another platform just to join my community. 2. Misconceptions About Skool’s Focus: There’s often confusion due to Skool’s emphasis on monetization and sales, while my community is entirely free. This mismatch creates a barrier in communicating the purpose of my group. 3. Concerns About Platform Costs: Some ask if there’s a fee to maintain a Skool account, which I realize could be a major hesitation for those unfamiliar with the platform. I’m sure I’m not alone in facing these questions. So, I’m curious to know how others here handle the process of transitioning LinkedIn connections or leads into Skool communities. One strategy I’m planning to try is sending a quick Loom video explaining how Skool works, showing them how to log in, and highlighting the opportunity to join other communities and benefit from the platform as a whole. If anyone has additional tips or strategies for making this process smoother and more appealing, I’d appreciate hearing them. Thanks in advance for sharing your insights!

Yeah I think the Loom video is a great idea and could work really well. Another option is getting a testimony from one of your clients (that is also in your Skool community) and get them to outline how it's impacted their business, whilst specifying that it's totally free. Hearing it from others builds a lot of authority and confidence to your audience!

I try to come prepared with recent questions that my clients have asked me, this way if its a slow start to the Q&A I always have some value to share that others will most likely learn from too 🙌

@Daniel Theander 100%, I agree completely. That's why bringing something to the table at the start can make a huge impact 🎉
