Would you hire a copywriter for your emails?

At what stage would you hire a copywriter for your emails? I had someone approach me who is quite good, understands my niche and is willing to work based on commission. However email writing feels like a light lift compared to most other aspects of my business. It’s also my only real traffic source at this point so commission from here could equate to a large chunk of my revenue. What is a fair commission here? And is it worth it? I think I just need to test it out but any insights would be appreciated! 🙏

Honestly I think if you're going to get one... you need to also be one. "Copywriting is just a tiny dot in the big world of marketing" If you're a copywriter yourself (or at least you know a few basics of how persuasive words work) you'd be able to make a GOOD - GREAT hire. There a book I skimmed by Dan Sullivan saying - "ASk who not how" Meaning as an entrepreneur ask - who can do this task I want to get done. Not how can I get this done Tho, naturally your brain would only allow you to outsource anything as important as your copy to someone you know is better than you OR can do as good as you. So it's best to do what most people said ^ Learn copywriting or at least the basics yourself. === Overall the main point of hiring a copywriter tbh, is to save you time and get you RESULTS you wouldn't be ble to get yourself. Not because you want to think "you have a copywriter". - 10% is a fair commission - YES! It is worth is... since you have nothing to lose. Except time. Sorry this is long lol.
