VAT on course invoice
Hello everyone. My business is based in UK. Talking to my accountant about selling courses online she tells me that depending on what country I sell to I have to add different VAT rules. For example if my client is based in European Union - I have to have a separate EU vat registered and pay vat in that particular country - which does not sound right to me. Is anyone here selling from UK? How do you charge Vat? Thank you πŸ™

OK, since posting my reply I just found out: VAT / sales tax Skool handles VAT/sales tax compliance for you. You don’t need to register for VAT or do anything. All VAT/sales tax liability is on Skool, not you. Payouts from Skool to you are VAT/sales tax exempt because Skool is a US company. When a customer is in the EU, Skool will automatically add VAT to the purchase price, capture it, and remit it to the government.

UK Sellers do not have to register for VAT if they only sell goods that are outside the UK at the point of sale to UK VAT-registered businesses. More info: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vat-and-overseas-goods-sold-directly-to-customers-in-the-uk#:~:text=Sellers%20do%20not%20have%20to,to%20UK%20VAT%2Dregistered%20businesses. It's regardless of the thresholds, but maybe an accountant can confirm to be sure! They would still be liable for Corporation Tax on profits as a limited company or personal individual so worth checking how to most affectively manage this. @Tiba Al-Khaldiy any thoughts?
The threat of GHL to Skool
Curious to see how Skool is continuing to be innovative and implement AI technology to stay ahead of the curve. I feel GHL GoHighLevel memberships and communities present a real issue for Skool and market share of the community building SaaS space, especially once their calendar integration is live in a month or so. Have others made the transition yet to migrate their communities to HighLevel?

Traffic to Skool Communities
How are people monitoring traffic to their skool pages? Is there a way of connecting to Google Analytics? It's a vital stat to see conversion rates etc... or top exit pages. Could Skool develop more reporting here as it would help community mangers to further optimise and imrpove.
