When I started Vintage Mama, my dream was to create a space where we could celebrate this wild, beautiful journey of motherhood together, with all the sass, wisdom, and strength we bring to the table. And wow, have you all shown up! From sharing your stories to rocking our t-shirts and stickers, you’ve built something truly special—a community that lifts each other up and reminds us we’re never alone in this journey. So today, as you enjoy your Thanksgiving (and maybe that second slice of pie), know that I’m raising a glass to YOU. Hello Gorgeous Vintage Mamas! This morning I woke up to the following text from my friend, Maggie. "Miss Thing! Been thinking about you quite a bit. During my meditation this morning, you were one of my gratefulness points of reflection, specifically your capacity for love and wonder. You are a beautiful presence in my life. I am thankful for you 🧘‍♀️❤️" I cried. These last four weeks have been some of the hardest of my life. There was an incident which forced my husband and I to temporarily separate. My aunt who was like my second mama passed away. And I went on a 'journey' that was a little more than I expected. All in about 30 days. However, I saw The Creator work in ways like never before. I discovered for the first time in my life, my worth. That sometimes separation is good and even necessary so we can recalibrate things. I reconnected with my inner child who is/ was just a little girl sitting in her grandmother's front yard blowing dandelions and making flower bracelets...and that's enough. Friends stepped up. Some knew about the situations, some didn't. But my true friends connected with me in some way shape or form. Which is huge...because I don't have a large circle but the ones I do have are treasures. It helped remind me of why I started this whole Vintage Mama thang to begin with... Connection + Community A place to run too when you feel alone or like no one understands. So as we step into these next few weeks, I know for some they may be challenges with family, memories, finances, friends but remember as my Vintage Mama friend Diana says: You are beautiful. You are strong. You are safe. And this group of Vintage Mamas is here for you. Love, Coco
