✔️How to attend a q&a call? 1) Please see the calendar for the dates and timings of the q&a calls. One week is for harmonium, other week is for singing. I changes every week, so watch out for that. 2) Write in the comments of this post the date and time of the q&a call you want to attend, at least 24h beforehand. I will then know who will be joining when. If nobody writes a comment here with a chose a date and time, the q&a call might then be canceled since nobody will be joining. 3) Go to "classroom" and click on the harmonium q&a calls for the zoom link. Hello dear musicians 👋 🙌🏽 I hope you are doing great. I have learnt the Adi mantra (the song Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo) in 2 days, from Kenny’s video. It’s very interesting… I’m going to buy a metronome ( can’t use from phone for this one) so that I can keep up with the practice without interruption. Rhythm is important especially if one think about playing with other musicians … ( must say I have skipped module 4 but will go back to where I was in the course previously!😉😊 Module 3. 16 as needed) Has anyone bought a metronome or using it in any other ways (electronically and how) ?? Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I felt like sharing something about my learning journey so here it comes: Last week I picked up my harmonium again after not having played for a very long time. I noticed that I really enjoy playing in the autumn and winter, but not so much during the summer. Somehow I always tend to practise for a while and then stop for a long period. I think it would really help if I searched for other people in my area to play music and sing together but I still havent found the courage to actively search for people. I just play by myself and don't even talk to others about it. I don't do anything 'spritual' like yoga or something so I'm not in those circles in my area. I live in a small town in the Netherlands so I think not many people have heard of the harmonium or of singing bahjans. So I'm too shy to post something on Facebook for example. Anyone else feel the same? I was a bit worried that I had forgotten a lot, but I was happy to learn that that was not the case. Having done the lessons about the foundations of the cords has really helped I guess. Here a short clip of me practising Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo. Feel free to share your version as well! It would be nice to see more people sharing on this platform to motivate each other :-).
