Heyo, I'm Chris and I've been maintaining a 'peak bulk' for a quite a few months now at 80kg. I'm cutting down to 72kg now which is what my typical set point used to be, then I think I'll maintain and maybe cut down to ~68kg, possibly lower but will see. I've been vegan since late 2019 and bulked from 68kg to 80kg over about 2 years most recently. I like bodybuilding and egolifting, my style of egolifting is typically doing more reps than I should and training beyond failure which I think has been holding my strength progress back a little but it's fun to me

@Ajani Burgess Pretty solid, only work stress really brings me down. I've been trying to push my squats but I get to 120kg/6 and feel like my form should be better so I go back to 100kg/6~10, I'm just trusting the process and staying consistent. I think in another 3 months I'll do a dedicated strength phase and limit myself to 6 rep sets in squats and bench, do some heavy triples and that good stuff. I do think I need to stress less about form sometimes to push but there is so much conflict, I appreciate the argument "if your form isn't breaking down are you even trying" from Eric Bugenhagen

Current weight 174lb short-term goal weight 158lb, long term end goal 200lb @ 18% BF, maybe not genetically possible for my pencil-neck genetics but I will not stop trying

@Ajani Burgess I'm about 173cm I think, I can claim 176cm on a good day if I'm not tight in my midsection and have good posture going but 5'8 is pretty accurate really

I like to workout and rescue animals with my wife when we are able to. I like horsing around, exhausting my lower back and training unnecessarily hard
