Loudness penalty
Hi guys, on Spotify, the master I done is less loud that other songs even I 'm at 0 dbfs. Is there anything else I need to do before sending the master to the platforms? here what I have with MetricAB - the blue is my song - the orange is the reference track If I play my song and the reference song side by side on Spotify, my song feel quieter.

@Martial Foucault Can you check your Spotify settings? You should have Audio Quality set to "Very high", Normalise volume enabled and Volume level set to Normal.
My Commitment Statement
A public commitment statement? hmmm... that's challenging! I will spend at least 2 hours each week working on the course material and 2 hours of Soundgym ear training exercises.

TDR SlickEQ Mastering is great, with per-band side gain controls for controlling your stereo image width. It also has Smart EQ controls including reference and noise matching: https://www.tokyodawn.net/tdr-slickeq-m/
Replays for FTM April
The video of the first day is yet to appear in the Event Replays :-( I hope it appears soon because I can't attend live this time.

Any EQ ear training exercises?
Does anyone have any exercises to train the ears and mind to recognize frequencies? I have an OK ability of picking out certain frequencies within a sound or mix but it also involves a lot of searching and trial and error. Watching Jake EQ and identify the offending frequencies right away is very inspiring. One thing I've been doing is dragging in CD tracks and analyzing their mix via a visual EQ. Another thing I do is try and recreate certain elements of songs as closely as I possibly can. If anyone has any helpful tricks to ear training lay em on me!
