Favorite suggestions for clients on how to use/where to post their VBC?
Hey squad Looking for people's favorite usage suggestions to clients for delivered VBCs. There are for sure some usual ones....landing page, pinned to top of Link'ed In profile etc, email drip, website etc etc, but I'm curous of others' favorite, or even creative, usages over this type of asset. LMK your thoughts and cheers!

Hey Alex, here is what I would tell a client of mine... The placement and use of a Video Business Card (VBC) can vary depending on the business and how the VBC is created. Below are several strategies to maximize its impact: 1️⃣ Social Media - LinkedIn: Post Organically and pin it to your profile and feature it in the "Featured" section. - YouTube: Use it as your channel trailer, pinned at the top of your channel. - Facebook: Post Organically and pin it to the top of both your personal and business pages. - Instagram: Post Organically and pin it to the top of your personal and business profiles. - TikTok: Post Organically and pin it to the top of your personal and business profiles. 2️⃣ Email and Website - Email Signature: Include a GIF image linked to the VBC, giving the appearance of a clickable video. - Website: - Homepage: Feature it front and center, similar to a video sales letter - OR - About Us Page: Embed it to provide visitors with an engaging introduction. 3️⃣ Direct Communication - Pre-Meeting: Send the VBC prior to a meeting with potential clients. This can be automated to appear on the thank you page after they fill out a discovery form. - Networking Events: After meeting a potential client, follow up with an email including the VBC, saying something like, "Hey, it was great meeting you! Here’s a quick video that explains what we do." - Email Blasts: Send it to previous clients and customers with a message like, "We’re excited to share our new video that highlights our services!" 4️⃣ Sales and Warm Outreach - Use the VBC as a defensive asset to warm up leads. Sending it before a sales call can help prime prospects, making them more excited about working with you. - While the VBC may not go viral, it's crucial to have it pinned on social media and available for those interested in learning more about your business. It’s the next step for potential clients to see why you stand out from competitors.

@Alexander Brooks Glad to help!
If you’re struggling with...
- Posting content and not knowing where to start - Sending outreach messages because you’re overthinking it - Perfecting every little detail on your website or VBC Basically, doing busy work instead of just getting out there and having conversations, I want to share something that helped me get fired up about doing the work, I have been avoiding. August rolled around, and I was in a rut. I’d been stuck in this loop of overthinking, trying to make everything perfect—figuring out who to contact, what to say, making a video business card, all that. I knew I needed to do some outreach, but I didn’t. I kept thinking, “I’ll just make my VBC better first.” Fast forward to last week, and I finally pushed myself to just send the first five messages. The first one took me forever to send, but by the third, it got so much easier. After sending those five messages, I felt like I could take on the world! Dramatic, I know. Didn’t matter if anyone responded, I had done something that had taken weeks to get done, but it doesn’t end there… Later on, I posted a quick “Anyone looking for video” type post on Facebook. I didn’t overthink it, I just did it(in hindsight, maybe the message could’ve been better) But I did it. So, what happened? 2 out of 5 responded to outreach, 1 booked a call, and I got a lead from Facebook—all just from five messages and a Facebook post. “What if I did this every day? Imagine the possibilities!” What I learned is… Take swift action. Those first few actions made it SO much easier to take more inspired actions each day. Even if I hadn’t gotten any responses, just sending those first messages gave me a hit of dopamine, I hadn’t felt in a while. All I could think was, "I have to do this everyday!!" And I think that’s what @Ceebz Gerard and @Dave Lisowski mean when they say, “Just do three things.” So if you’re stuck like I was, just pick three things and do them. You’ll be surprised at how much better you feel once you start taking action.

Feedback on my VBC
I'm looking for feedback on messaging and the flow/outline of the messaging rather than creative choices but welcome any and all feedback. Some thing worth noting: This video business card is a bit outside the box compared to the typical interview style. Instead, I wanted to create something unique to me, using a few elements from a VSL and ADs. The goal is to use this video to introduce myself to business owners I meet at networking events, etc and invite them to book a strategy call. I still need to make a final pass on color, sound, and maybe a few tweaks to timing, but I wanted to see what the group thought so far. Thank you for your feedback! @Ceebz Gerard @Dave Lisowski
