Hello! I'm Chantal - a licensed GA & FL REALTOR and LT rental and corporate housing investor. I've been itching to get into SS for quite a few years now (dating back to at least 2018). Back then, I was discouraged because I thought it would be hard to compete amongst the larger institutions, until I realized there's still opportunity to succeed in this industry despite the big players. I just finished a SS course, and am just getting started with a book about growing wealth in SS. So, I'm looking forward to jumping in with both feet and acquiring a facility as soon as possible! As I've navigated being a Realtor and investor over the past few years, I realize that you learn a lot by actively being in the field and "doing" the work - but I want to acquire something that makes sense as well. My #1 question at this time is whether I should leverage my recently vacant LT rental and 1031 it into a storage facility or if I should wait. Currently weighing the pros & cons. Happy to be amongst you all - looking forward to increasing my storage knowledge and adding value where I can.
