A2P Delays!!
I'm trying to register A2P in GHL. Was rejected twice - each time they took 1 day to respond. Now we resubmitted. Now Trust Center has the Campaign status in-progress for almost 2 weeks! I spoke with GHL support and they had no answers. Anyone else seeing delays like this? How can we operate like this?

Hang in there! My A2P campaign had to be resubmitted a few times & then the final review did take longer than expected. But it did get approved. I imagine they're experiencing an influx of requests now that it's mandatory - everyone rushing to get compliant.
Totally confused about email
Hi all, may someone please explain to me what I have to do to set up email in a GHL subaccount? I have my domain hosted at Hostinger. I heard I need 2 email addresses me@mydomain.com and e.g. me@mail.mydomain.com . Why do I need them both? I saw 2-way-sync with Gmail. Does this mean that I set up me@mydomain.com with a Google business account and when I send emails they will also show up in conversations like me@mail.mydomain.com ? Do I have to setup anything at Hostinger? Or do I set up me@mydomain.com at Google and me@mail.mydomain.com in GHL or somewhere else? And what's going on in February (?) with new things to consider for deliverability? I only find videos with tutorials about micro steps but I don't understand the macro, the context on the whole topic. I would appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction.

@Gerald Eder By default when emails are sent from GHL they show the name of GHL's email-sending servers (mg.msgsndr.net) in the "sent on behalf of" or "sent via" email headers. So even though your email looks like it's coming from me@mydomain.com it's actually being sent by GHL's mg.msgsndr.net on your behalf. Spammers can use a similar process to spoof a brand and try to make their spam emails look legit. Basically Google & Yahoo now want to see that the email-sending servers match your domain and that you have DMARC authentication in place as better security and stronger verification that the emails are coming from a legitimate source. The reason why you want to set up a dedicated emailing subdomain (like mail.mydomain.com), is that if for any reason you end up with people reporting your emails as spam or getting blocked/blacklisted for some reason, it only affects your subdomain but doesn't burn your primary domain.

@Fabian Raschke I'd actually recommend this support article for those questions: https://help.gohighlevel.com/support/solutions/articles/48000979925 It is a lot.

@Robb Bailey Is Skool the best for memberships/communities, or are there some advantages to using GHL?

Under the War Chest Resources there's a whole section on why Robb switched over from a Facebook group community to using Skool specifically.
