My preference is for a combination of tools such as Claude 3.5, Chat GPT 4o and Perplexity. I am a genealogist and family historian who creates the narrative for ancestral profiles, biographies and family histories from the research data. Claude gives me the academic structure and ideation to write compelling stories; GPTs provide the translations and analysis of old documents, as well as story illustrations, and Perplexity guides me to sites for historical context, explanations of events and summary narratives for the impact on my ancestors’ lives.

Hello Kashif, you may want to take a look at the AI tools embedded in Canva.com for your slides.Then check out DabbleWriter to create your ebook chapters! Then use Chat GPT to help create your titles, subtitles, chapter titles and outlines.

Thanks for sharing Jason! Brilliant updates on the horizon! I like the concept of uploading docs to Chat GPT this will change the game again for genealogists. A profile with preferences sounds ideal to save time with prompts. But the best piece for my students, who are learning how to harness GPT for family history writing, is the Workspaces! Sharing the iterative process to collaborate would be awesome. So far all we have been able to do is share for viewing with the share option tool.

Absolutely spot on lesson planning process here Jason. GPT 4 excels at this to quickly build a customised course outline, lesson plans, and scripts for video lessons. Thanks for sharing that piece on ‘learning’ with Chat GPT - that will work well for my topics!
