Protein meal supplements including bars, shakes, cookies, etc. seem like a good way to get the protein but the sugar and carbs are high. As. A true meal replacement they aren’t the worst things in a pinch but the idea one bar is going to fill you up after a workout is laughable. I do like protein chips as a quick snack. 19G of protein, 4 carbs, no added sugar, but there is a lot of salt. I just can’t keep fresh veggies in my truck all day.
