Issue with RelayFi international wire to Colombia
Does anyone have an account with RelayFi? Have you han any issues regarding international wires? I was using my account with prime subscription and no issues, but after one year of being a happy client, I requested an international wire to my country, but they retained the money for about 1 month with no explanations to me. After that period they accepted to return the money to my account, so the wire never completed. Fortunately, there wasn't a big amount. Now I stopped the subscription and don't rely on them to use their services again. Sorry for anyone to know this, if you were considering to open an account with RelayFi, but that's my sad story with them.

@Paola Moreno Por supuesto, tengo una larga cadena de correos de cerca de 1 mes y en su mayoría se puede evidenciar que su soporte de servicio al cliente: 1) no tenía ni idea de lo que estaba ocurriendo 2) le extrañaba que este tipo de cosas ocurriese 3) no sabía qué hace ni a quien escalar Tuve que buscarme yo mismo la forma de escalar internamente con un supervidor de RelayFi, para darme cuenta que la transferencia estaba detenida en su integrador de giros internacionales Currency Cloud. Pero este supervisor tampoco era capaz de darme razones del por qué estaba detenido ni de darme soluciones, más que esperar. Esperé 1 mes y lo último que pedí fue que me devolvieran mi dinero y eso fue justo lo que ocurrió. La transferencia nunca finalizó. Mal final para un servicio que prometía ser bueno, pero que acabó con mi confianza y mi paciencia. ----------- Sure, I got a long chain of emails of about 1 month and most of them show that their customer service support: 1) had no idea what was going on, 2) were surprised that this kind of thing happened, 3) didn't know what to do, or who to escalate to, I had to find by myself a way to escalate internally to a RelayFi supervisor, to find out that the transfer was stopped in their international wire transfers integrator Currency Cloud. But this supervisor was also unable to give me reasons why it was stopped or give me solutions, other than waiting. I waited 1 month and the last thing I asked for was to get my money back and that was exactly what happened. The transfer never finished. Sad ending for a service that promised good, but ended up with my trust and my patience.

@Eric R Thank you Eric, may be great to check this alternative. In my case, my clients are unable to send wires directly to RelayFi account (most of them are in Mexico), so my BofA account was needed (then, local transfers to RelayFi costs $5). Next time I would evaluate if sending money from BofA to Wise makes more sense, rather than loading RelayFi.

Skype Number X Tello?
Has anyone ever used a Skype Number (VoIP - same as Tello) to register with banks in the USA? In a video made by James, he recommends Tello, but I think Skype Number has the same functionality.

I'm using a Skype number for a local bank and it works well. There's an alternative VoIP called Zadarma that you may use too and no issues with it.
