There seems to be an issue with Blender 4.3
I've just installed Blender 4.3 and there seems to be some kind of problem with keyboard response while in Object Mode. Basically Blender doesn't respond to any key presses while in Object mode. The odd thing is that when I switch to Edit Mode the keyboard works just fine. If I switch back to Object mode I don't have a keyboard anymore, which is totally weird. If you've installed 4.3 do you have the same issue? I have reported this as a bug.

@Nick Fox I had no issues importing my settings from 4.2. Did the team say what causes this?

@Nick Fox Actually now that I think about it, I did have this issue when I went from 3.x to 4.0. It was caused by an addon I was using that gave you Unreal Engine like controls in the viewport. Once I disabled it everything worked again.
Plasticity Experimental Modeling
Could be a radio, could be a music device, could be anything you want to put a label on. Started off as a cube in Plasticity and ended up here. I don't know what it is or what it might be.

Reminds me of those MP3 players you used to get. Nice modelling and I see your rendering is really improving to Nick. Great job!
Plasticity to Zbrush Workflow?
I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with hard surface objects designing them in Plasticity first, and then taking it to Zbrush to sculpt on for high rez wear and tear details, UV'ing the model I guess at some point in-between depending on how much cleanup you need to do on the model after Plasticity to keep Surfaces super cleanl. Ultimately what does a workflow look like for making a low rez and highrez models using Plasticity starting with Zbrush and going to substance painter. And then if its worth it to even use Plasticity or just sub-d model to start with.

You can use zremesher in zbrush after import so you won’t have to worry about initial geometry. You would also use zremesher to create your low poly too.
Modo - End of Life
I don't know if anyone is interested in this, but MODO has reached end of life and is giving away their product with a 10-year license. Per Pixel Fondue. Links are here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVhKfDvezqE https://support.foundry.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019180479-Q100595-Download-links-for-previous-Modo-versions https://campaigns.foundry.com/modo-eol-license I think version 17 has Octane Render.

I had a Modo license a few years ago, was a great piece of software, although it was never very stable and crashed a lot. I switched to Blender once it moved to subscription.
Sony Walkman TPS - L2
Hi everyone, after some small projects to gain some experience with plasticity, I finally decided to test it in combination with blender for rendering purposes. The bridge is mind blowings. I started to add some materials and only once finished I will setup the final scene. Right now it's just an HDRI.
