AI Notes - Artifical Intelligence Use Policy
For those of you using AI for note-taking, do you require your client's consent before recording? We are putting together an AI Use Policy and are curious how others are handling this. Thanks.

Using Redtail to track the last conversation with a client.
Curious how others use RedTail to track their last conversation with a client. Thank you, Brenda

@Thomas Higgins I thought I would share our process. We use Mobile Assistant for client meeting debriefs and the notes import into RedTail. We have a couple of different debrief templates that we use. We plan to start using Jump AI soon and their platform will most likely replace Mobile Assistant. (TBD)
Sharing Client passwords
Does anyone use 1Password (or a similar platform) to have clients share passwords with you? We hold client un/pw's (we claim custody for this reason) and are curious how others obtain credentials to client accounts other than via screen sharing. Thanks. Brenda

Texting, Archiving & CRM Integration
Hi all! I’m currently in the process of building out a tech platform for my firm that is transitioning away from the B/D world and starting our own RIA in August. My life is full of demos and visually mapping all the different tools that we have access to but with so many options, sometimes “analysis paralysis” kicks in 😵‍💫 Next item on my list is texting and achieving for the advisors on our team. Major Priorities: Modern UI, Easy to Use, Integrated and Relaiable CRM: After tons of demos we elected to go with Wealthbox for our CRM. Loving it so far and spending time in the weeds of building out all of our workflows now. Texting: I’ve explored solutions from Zoom, Global Relay, Smarsh, Redtail and CurrentClient. Archiving: GR, Smarsh and Presults Here is was I’m leaning towards: CurrentClient and Presults. These two have an integration so all texts through CC would be able to be archived by Presults. CC also has an integration with Wealthbox so data is synced and communication is logged. Both platforms have a modern UI. My concern is that both are relatively new players so I’m wondering if anyone has any experience they can share (good or bad!). I welcome any other recommendations or thoughts as well!

My suggestion as you build out your deck would be to try and unify as many components as possible, especially with communications. For example, we have phones with one user, texting with another and video conferencing with another. We are looking to move our phone and texting to Zoom. We currently use Mitel for our phones and MyRepChat for texting. By moving to one platform, it should create less oversight and a better for experience for everyone since they will only need to login one platform, rather than three. We recently moved away from Presults. A lot of their rollouts and updates just didn't happen. Happy to discuss further. Brenda

@Joe Moss We just signed up with Archive Intel
Video
What is everyone using for Video? We have Loom as I wanted to record our processes/workflows for training purposes, but I know some advisors using Bom Bom for client videos as they can track who opened. What are you using, and for which purpose or others I am not even thinking about yet? Appreciate the feedback.
