The end... & what it means for you
Hey guys, You’ve probably realised things are quiet on our front. After a long discussion with Jon, we’ve decided to close things down (more on that in a moment). But first, here’s what it means for you: - You will all be emailed Vimeo links/google drive links containing all of the PDFs, videos, etc of anything you have purchased for you to download and keep forever. - This Skool group will shut down soon. Take what you need ASAP. - This is not goodbye forever. You probably have questions, and that's ok. I'll be happy answer them, but here are the FAQs so far... - No, me and Jon haven't fallen out. Not in the slightest. We are still best pals, and have regular calls setup to shoot the shit as best mates. - We made this decision due to ever changing personal circumstances making longer term commitments harder to honour. Nothing to do with anything else. - Yes, Elite, and CoreControl is closing too. - Jon is retiring from all long term engagements. But will consider short term projects that fit within his time schedule leveraging his copywriting, and strategic approach to sales & marketing. He will also be taking the Stoic leadership and attitude model forwards. - I will be continuing down a similar path you have seen Well-Fed Business go down, but with my own spin. I'll be leveraging my ten year+ experience as the man behind the scenes enabling us to build a highly profitable, lean, and fun business - and helping others build out their 'behind the scene stuff'. - Holly’s going to ramp up her business support services, branching out to help more business owners with their operations and the day-to-day. If you want to keep up to date with exactly what each of us are doing, you can sign up to our various email lists below. Jon/Connor/Holly: thanks!
Regarding your website
Hey Renegades. Websites. A pain in the ass for most non e-commerce business owners. They often take up massive amounts of cash, time, and mental bandwidth for minimal return. Our philosophy to them is simple. Design them with your strategy in mind. Example: We are gearing up for our next direct mail run. People are gonna receive weird shit in the post from us, and are rightly gonna wonder who the fuck we are. We know they'll likely Google us, and that will be the primary source of our traffic. Therefore, we design with that in mind. So for £27 and an hour of my time I whipped up www.connorbenham.com Don't overcomplicate your stuff, and don't listen to web designers who want to sell you a mansion, when you need a shack. P.S. Here's a list of other websites that I think are rather great. http://berkshirehathaway.com https://www.amazon.com https://wellfedbusiness.com https://thrivecart.com/special-offer/ https://www.thegaryhalbertletter.com https://isitchristmas.com And my favourite... https://lastwonatrophy.co.uk/tottenham/

@Connor Benham "Ní hea" is as close to a "no" as we have in Irish!
A very boring message
Hey Renegades, This will likely be the most boring email you read all day. And it contains very unimportant news. I deleted my LinkedIn account and started anew. You can connect with me here. Why did I delete my account with countless adorning fans, 1000s of connection etc etc? Simple. I couldn't give a shit about 99.9% of them. So I've decided to start fresh and keep my connections to one of three categories exclusively. 1) People in our world. Clients of all flavours, book buyers and our Renegades (this includes you) 2) Interesting people. Ones that I've sought out, and don't make me want to cry when I read their posts. 3) Prospects we send shit to. If I'm spending considerable sums of money sending out high value packages, I want to give them the opportunity to thank me (and I want to stalk them) If you do decide to connect with me, or just have a nosy here you'll notice my about section is a little unusual. On the surface it looks rather odd... But inside it lies a valuable lesson. The vast majority of people who will view my profile would've received something in the post from us, and will be asking themself the question..."Who the fuck is this?" So it's meticulously designed to answer that very question, and sell them on the next step -- which is a call with myself. Most about sections are useless. They are auto-fellatio smut to serve ones own ego when they should be selling the next step, whatever that may be. And this silliness isn't exclusive to LinkedIn abouts. No. Most people blow their load too early with their marketing. When your marketing should do one thing, always -- sell the next logical step. Let me repeat. Your marketing has one job -- to sell the next logical step. Go look at your current marketing and be honest with yourself... ...Are you asking them to build a bridge too far? If so, make the change. Warmly, -Connor P.S. The GIF is satire.

@Kev Whitehouse I've tried getting rid of Google - no joy yet. The less distractions the better!
