Creating a storage for business users to upload files to trigger a report?
I have a process that takes two excel\csv files as input and then creates a reconciliation report between the two. Currently I only know of the capability to upload files into the file folder of a lakehouse, but how do i create a feature for external non-dev users to upload a file that i can then load into the lakehouse\datawarehouse?

Inconsistent behavior while reading from and writing to delta parquet tables using Pyspark in notebooks
Inconsistent behavior while reading from and writing to delta parquet tables using Pyspark in notebooks. I am using the built-in notebooks to work on the lakehouse data and the same pyspark script to read from or write to a delta table will work sometimes and not at other times. Anyone else having this issue? and the errors are cryptic and not particularly useful.

I found the issue https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Data-Engineering/An-error-occurred-while-calling-o321-sql/m-p/4130849#M3870 Its related to the "enable schema" option when creating a lakehouse. I suggest switching this feature off until they sort this issue out.

What is the best way to implement Fabric Data Lake and Data Warehouse?
Hi BI Guru! Based on the attached image, in your experience, which option—A or B—would be the best choice for implementing a Fabric Data Lake and Data Warehouse? and Why? Thanks!

What is the reason for your 3 workspaces at the end?
Is Fabric being ingested in companies ?
Hey @will and everyone, A lot of people now are certified and do know at some extent fabric (we all know mastering any tool or skill require true actual work and problem solving). now the question is, are companies doing the transition to fabric as microsoft expected ? are certain countries gonna go faster than others ? are the consulting firms not ready yet ?

Microsoft has a history of releasing products that are quite industry ready in the Data space such as Synapse etc., but I think Fabric will be different, for one, it seems better conceptualized and holistic. They also have a lot of competition from the likes of Snowflake etc. which is why they changed their licensing to a combination of storage and capacity vs previous models. They are also embracing open source which is also a good strategy. Bigger corporations tend to be slow and less risk averse and it will probably be better for them to wait and see how Fabric develops before jumping into it.
