I used the MicroStrategy model even before Michael Saylor did it...
...and turned -5k into +500k within 5 years. Here is how to replicate it as an individual: 1) Make sure you have a stable income e.g. a safe job or solid business. 2) Live well below your means, think of only spending 50-70% of your income. 3) Study +100h of Bitcoin to get a deep understanding of how hard money, the FIAT system, blockchaintechnology, encryption and proof of work works -> start with "The Bitcoin Standard". 4) Take out a fixed-rate bank loan (to eliminate interest rate risk) for 10 years, make sure you can pay your monthly debt payments for 6-12 months even if you lose your job. 5) Buy Bitcoin with the funds of the loan. 6) Sit there and do nothing for 4 years minimum. 7) Don't loose your private keys! :D 8) Watch your loan shrink into irrelevance compared to your Bitcoin portfolio. BONUS: 9) Meanwhile get better at work / business and increase your income. 10) Keep your lifestyle the same and buy more Bitcoin via dollar-cost-averaging (you can also diversify into stocks, gold or other assets if you can't handle the pressure, chances are good you can sleep better at night). Do this for 10 years and you can quit your job (if you want to) See you on the other side :) -- PS: No financial advice! If you are new to investing keep your hands away from leverage :)
