Now that we have our scores back I can confidently say it went how I expected. I would give science and reading a 4, english a 3, and math a 2. My best advice would be to stay consistent all around and to not lock in too hard on one section (or forget to practice a section).

For the first one, A, and for the second, J. I eliminated any "-ing" choices from the second question because you typically see a word between the subject and "-ing" verb unless it's a question. In the first question I eliminated choices B and D because when rephrasing the sentence as "Noether was not widely recognized ... until recently" it flows in a way that makes "recently" be used as a adverb and not as the adjective "recent". It is not choice C because it is describing how up until now, Noether was not widely recognized, and not how she was recently not recognized.

Using a method that surely is not consistent, I narrowed my answer down to K. Obviously F doesn't work, but to eliminate G, H, and J, I wrote down the equation and tested 2 as a placeholder for b. It got confusing and G, H, and J, seemed like too similar answer choices so I assumed that b would have to be greater than a to some length. This method was fastest for me, but I don't trust it and will probably not use it again.

Just went back and used the discriminant instead. I'm a little more sure about my answer of K now.
