Quitting Porn is like fighting in the battlefield
Imagine you are a Spartan in a battlefield You have a shield and a sword and some armour on Your leader screams CHARGE!!! You run to enemy line sword and shield in hand ready to swing but more importantly protect yourself when the time is right After swinging your sword for almost an hour and putting your shield up, all of those hours of training have been worth it. You are still alive... You look at your fellow comrades who survived but you notice amongst you are many fallen soldiers. You take a look at one of their swords and you notice... you notice his sword looks as red and fiery as the sun if you lived to see it up close. Covered and drenched in blood But then you take a look at his shield and it still looks brand new You take a look at the next soldier and its the same but then you look at another and notice its the opposite His shield is damaged as fuck but his sword still look polished and is shining in the sun There is a clear pattern amongst those who didn't survive... They were either TOO offensive or TOO defensive. They had no balance. You look at your fellow comrades who survived and you cant help but notice their shields have wear but their swords are also covered in blood Now why do I tell you this shit? Because its the same thing when you are trying to quit porn you may focus too much on being defensive and hide behind porn blockers, mindset and meditation or you may focus too much on being offensive and focus on working out, willpower, business etc The answer is to find the middle ground between both of these things Be defensive when urges are extremely high to make sure you don't relapse to stop the feedback loop and you must be offensive to be able to transmute your energy and become a better man So remember this analogy for next time you are crafting your strategy towards quitting porn If you are really serious about quitting porn, have tried all the methods you have learnt on youtube or reddit and failed, I have some good news for you.
