Mine are playful, kind, and curious. I recently came across some childhood photos I hadn’t seen in forever, and it felt like such a sweet moment of rediscovery. After doing an inner child meditation here, I looked at those pictures through a different lens and it felt like meeting a part of myself I hadn’t fully appreciated before. Funny enough, I couldn’t help but laugh at the hairstyle I was rocking back then. 😂 But beyond the surface, it was heartwarming to recognize traits in my younger self that are still very much part of me today. It’s a simple but beautiful exercise: choosing three words to honor the essence of who you were and still are at your core. So, what three words come to mind when you think about your inner child? For me, reflecting on these words throughout the day has been a gentle reminder to embrace joy and playfulness, no matter what life throws my way.
