I want your opinions on this
So this next collection Im dropping is largely f&f nascar inspired and one of the statement SKUs is a button up work shirt with a lot of embroidery hits and hardware elements. So im using the "mechanic/workwear" theme to tell a story and market but Im curious, would you as a potential customer be at all less inclined to buy if we portrayed the items in a "low class" light before showing it in a "high end streetwear" light. in other words, would seeing the items beforehand worn by a character representing low class influence your decision in buying EVEN if the products are displayed as high end streetwear afterward?

in my opinion coming up from that type of scenery, i agree with Jose in the point where most car guys aren' t worried about how they dress depending on the type of event. but when it's a car show, you do see a lot of people in streetwear clothes. Regardless, the way i see it is a lot of people will appreciate the low class vibe just for the fact that it's more realistic of how it's actually supposed to be, and people tend to want to try that feeling for the first time. how Tyler said also, as long as you market it right, and make good trailers and photoshoots of it, you should get very good sales. personally, you also have to see it from the customers pov, are the clothes aesthetically pleasing with the story you're telling.
Intro Lucas V.
Hey everyone, just joined today. My name's Lucas and I own a sportswear brand, Power Mentality. Insta is powermentality.co I hope to help and learn from others in this dope community. In terms of impact, my brand is going to have people believe success is natural and not exclusive. I want them to know it takes an extreme amount of work and patience to trigger it, but that success is already brewing within us. Financially, I will have a multi-million dollar brand and I will live off the brand and a personal portfolio in real estate and stocks.
