Aside of this…what I like about Dubai is the safety, the cleanliness, the respect & politeness of everyone, the warm weather all year, a very multicultural sense of community, and so many possible things to do during your free time (some people like fancy parties…I prefer hiking in the mountains)

@Korey Sisco I see you’re also under the popular impression that there are many « wealthy folks in Dubai » as you say but trust me it’s mostly a caricatural stereotype that people overseas like to believe in (and the media love to surf in that trend)…but in reality there aren’t that many. The real rich people are a few russian billionaires and saudis. But 99% of the westerners who want to look rich are mostly wannabees. And all the sexy « influencers » taking pictures in luxury places aren’t rich people either, they’re looking for their next sugar daddy (it’s a business). Anyway…😂 yes it’s great to invest… However if I invest in real estate I would definitely NOT do it here in Dubai where; 1. it’s full of scams (they runaway with your money before project completion) and 2. Real estate quality in general here is so terribly bad, the buildings only last a few years before crumbling apart from every corner (it’s all built super fast, with the cheapest materials, cheapest unqualified labour, and virtually no quality control at any stage..) >Basically it will usually look great from far away…but when you take a closer look, you’re shocked (it’s not even low standards, it’s below everything..…but I’ll stay polite:) Every year some of these cheap brand new builds catch fire. That’s why I live in an old building.
