Hello everyone! Thank you Derek for creating this group so we're all able to collaborate. I'm the Business Development Manager for SERVPRO. We are an emergency restoration company. If you encounter water damage, fire damage or mold in your home or business then your insurance agent will typically advise you contact your local SERVPRO franchise. Our office is fully registered on SAM.gov. After a two year process, we finally became a MAS GSA Contract Holder in April. Now I am looking for opportunities to bid on. Thanks to Derek's Masterclass, I was able to find out which agencies are purchasing our services. I've been able to complete Supplier Information Forms for a handful of companies that work directly with these agencies so we can provide subcontracting opportunities as well. My goal is to win a contract prior to year end.

Happy Saturday "Startup'ers"! (just made that name up, too cheesy?) Upon creation of the community, I set the pace for my role in this community to be one of Listening and one of Creating. So far, I've been asked about these 2 challenges by a handful of community members: 1) A beginner's checklist to help with the "I don't know what I don't know" that a Startup quickly encounters AND the ordering and sequence of steps that a checklist provides. 2) "I can't find the bids that I'm looking for". I hear this one very frequently and have thoughts that I can capture in a video format. It's my thoughts that a checklist and video could run parallel to one another and make a potent combo. I also have lots of other stuff do for the community, so is one or both of these worth my time creating? Would you honestly use it? Would you even look at it 🤔 I'm all 👂👂 to Listen...
