Pausing the Group
Hey Everyone, Unfortunately, I need to pause the group for a while. My mother has been diagnosed with cancer and it’s important that I focus on helping her get better. I hope to resume as soon as I can! In the meantime, please follow me on IG to keep up with me @fettlefounder. Thank you again for all your support - I’ll be back! If you need to get in touch with me, my email is Amanda@fettleconsulting.com

@Andrea Somers thank you, my friend.
Welcome to Mend with Amanda!
MWA is designed for entrepreneurs who are on a healing journey who refuse to be a victim to their circumstances. If you are not an aspiring entrepreneur, or just find this community valuable, you are welcome. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Let's be honest - if you're dealing with a health issue almost every day, it's going to impact your work. I know first hand - I almost lost everything I spent 6 years building from putting my health on the back burner. Luckily for me, I made a decision to figure out how to heal naturally and shift my mindset. Instead of losing everything, I was able to sell my business for top dollar with ease and move on to new business ventures more aligned with where I was as a person. Every day I see other entrepreneurs feeling unwell and thinking "it's just because I'm getting older..." Wrong. Your body is trying to tell you it needs some help, and I'm here to help you figure out what it needs FAST before it's too late. You Health is your #1 asset. Protect it at all cost. In this group you will learn how to: - Manage stress to avoid burnout, which will lead to chronic illness - Start proper supplementation to support your brain and body the way an ambitious entrepreneur needs - Learn how to improve your mindset around your health challenges while balancing your work - Improve your relationships with your team and those you love. - Get recommendations for local or virtual practitioners who can help with more specific issues (ie functional medicine doctors) - Level up spiritually to make sure you are actually aligned with your purpose We are here to inspire hope - and if you are struggling, we are here to support one another. MWA offers encouragement and support, but we do not tolerate the "feeling sorry for yourself" mentality. This group is for you if 90% of the time: - You know that the health of your business is directly corelated to your personal health - You know you have the ability to heal but feel like no one understands your journey.

February Journal Prompts
Hey gang, For those of you who don't know, I was a Philosophy major. To me, understanding everything from the core out, is a sport. I've always loved reflecting and understanding myself and situations as much as I could....so journal prompts have always been helpful in 1) realizing how strong and powerful I already am (we all forget sometimes because we are just doing what we do everyday) and 2) finding clarity in my own mind rather than asking others for advice all the time. So, here is a list of prompts...I'd love if you could all answer one in the comments below, I will start. _______________________________________________________________________ Reflect on a time when your health OR business challenge felt like an insurmountable obstacle. How did you overcome it, and what did you learn about yourself in the process? Describe a setback related to your health that you turned into an opportunity. What strategies did you employ to reframe the situation positively? What role does resilience play in your entrepreneurial journey, especially considering your health condition? How do you cultivate resilience in the face of adversity? Consider a recent business challenge you faced. How might your unique perspective as someone managing a chronic health issue offer innovative solutions or insights? Reflect on a moment when you felt discouraged or overwhelmed by your health condition OR your business. What strategies or coping mechanisms helped you regain a sense of motivation and purpose? Describe a time when your health condition forced you to pivot or adapt your business strategy. How did this experience shape your approach to problem-solving and flexibility?

Describe a time when your health condition forced you to pivot or adapt your business strategy. How did this experience shape your approach to problem-solving and flexibility? For me, this has happened many times. Sometimes it lead to what felt like "bad" inconsistency in my business, but sometimes, it lead to a pivot that was positive all around because it allowed me to rest AND improve the business. Either way, I never regretted a decision I made for my health...because no one else was going to come save me, so I had to do what I had to do. An example of this was when I decided to close my second store 5 months after opening. Right when I opened, my health started to take a turn. I plowed through, but we all know how that ends! It wasn't an easy decision - part of me felt embarrassed - I didn't want people to think I failed. But, I knew deep down that wasn't the reason I was letting it go...it was so that I could focus on my health. I always find that making the hard decisions for our own good usually work out better than we even expect. Sometimes the universe/God is pushing us towards the right path and we ignore it. and things just get harder and harder until we choose ourselves.

@Caitlyn Alava totally get that. That’s exactly what happened to me 4 years into running my previous business I have found that we usually only burn out if we aren’t totally in alignment with our mission. Sometimes so force things just to make money; or we just fall out of love with something we’re doing, or for me, it was reaching the pinnacle of what I was doing and I just got bored. We tend to have endless energy for the things that truly excite us…so my question to you is: what are you currently doing and why are you afraid it will overwhelm you?

@Caitlyn Alava yes. Especially with health issues. “If it’s not a f*ck yes, it’s a f*ck no!”
