@Elina Solaita I had one of "those weeks" last week. Low energy, low mood, low connection..... I call it a 'Damage Control Week' and success = making it to Friday with no 'life grenades'. What is a life grenade? When I am in this space the probability of an 'Oopsie' where I.. > crash my car > hurt my back > blow up a relationship > forget a meeting > put my car keys through the wash cycle > accidentally make someone cry > accidentally make myself cry INCREASES SIGNIFICANTLY! ........ There are some weeks when we just wake up in The Zone and ANYTHING is possible, EVERYTHING works and WE ARE MAGICAL. ....... this week is not one of those. This week has gremlins, So perhaps this week 'Success' is keeping the basics together. xx
Transform Stress into Growth ๐ŸŒฑ
Did you know that stress, in the right doses, can actually be beneficial for growth? Research shows that encountering manageable levels of stress can enhance our resilience and motivate us to succeed. This phenomenon, known as 'eustress,' can lead to improved performance and fulfillment in both personal and professional realms. As we step into a new week, let's view our challenges as opportunities for growth. Each obstacle is a stepping stone, guiding us closer to our goals and helping us become the calm warriors we strive to be. Remember, it's not about eliminating stress completely but learning to navigate it constructively. Letโ€™s embrace our journey with an open heart and a resilient mindset. #StressForGrowth #ResilienceBuilding

My insight? That I still watched 2min to see if I could complete the practice using only lip reading and body language. Success? No, I couldn't, because I can't lip read ๐Ÿคฃ
Why It's So Much Easier To Be Afraid Than Excited
Research has shown that anything negative hits us at least 7x harder than anything positive. Whatever your brain focuses on is what you'll think about and how you experience the world. Here are 3 ways to counter that / turn it around: - Become very conscious of what you consume and when. Starting early in the day by consuming the news may not be the best premise to feel better. - Donโ€™t just think positive words, visualize positive experiences to prime your brain. - Negative news travels much faster than positive news - simply because of how vigilant our brain is. Next time you hear or read something negative, try to come up with at least 7 positive news.

@Marina Grusevaja I am SO there with you! I have a folder of this stuff - its 1/3 Uplifting Quotes (Brene Brown style), 1/3 Dark Humour Memes and 1/3 Animals Ruling the World... like the pupper that carried the garden sprinkler inside through his doggy door.

Today, Focus on Setting Boundaries
What's a boundary that you could set or be more strict with keeping in order to prioritize your well-being and reduce stress?

Marina, me too! Burnout forced this issue for me but I'm still figuring out what 'fair & reasonable' looks like for situation specific boundaries. I find it hard to assess familiar situations using new, fresh thinking. ... if other people could just swim in their lane and leave my boundaries in peace that would be a much easier solution to maintain ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ฎ
