Why It's So Much Easier To Be Afraid Than Excited
Research has shown that anything negative hits us at least 7x harder than anything positive. Whatever your brain focuses on is what you'll think about and how you experience the world. Here are 3 ways to counter that / turn it around:
  • Become very conscious of what you consume and when. Starting early in the day by consuming the news may not be the best premise to feel better.
  • Don’t just think positive words, visualize positive experiences to prime your brain.
  • Negative news travels much faster than positive news - simply because of how vigilant our brain is. Next time you hear or read something negative, try to come up with at least 7 positive news.
