CallRail vs Google call-tracking
Is it safe to say that the biggest advantage that CallRail has over Google's free solution is the fact that you can record calls? Are there any other big advantages that CallRail (or GoHighLevel) has that I'm missing? P.S. If I'm using "Call extension", do I get charged every time someone clicks on the ad, or every time they actually make the call?

@Troid Dutta Wow. This is the best summary I've read so far… If all of it is on point, it makes so much sense to use CallRail in that case… but now that I thin of it, in my case it's possible that Google's tracking should be enough

I just got to try Go High Level today, and immediately remembered this post. Thought I'd share my experience… So for what I understood, i came to the conclusion that if you are ACTUALLY going to use other features of the software (there's a TON), and you can hence justify the extra cost… this is the best tool! Even though it doesn't beat the interface of CallRail, and isn't free as Google call-tracking, (for what I know) GHL offers literally everything that CallRail does. It's a great tool, and you can surely look into it. PS instead of paying $97 for the basic planof GHL, you can reach out to the white-label resellers of the software, who can give their white-labeled version of GHL for like $10 per month. At that rate, I think it's a no-brainer.
Google turns off cookies for 30 million Chrome users - Will your ads survive?
Google just turned off third-party cookies for 30 million Chrome users - and that is just 1% of the users! The plan is by Q3 of this year to phase out third-party cookies for 100% of Chrome users. You might have seen articles or emails already talking about this and most them are very doom and gloom. But how worried should you really be about your Google Ads performance? Well...I have good news. Julius Fedorovicius from Analytics Mania summed it perfectly in one of his emails (copy and pasted below) In short - you don't need to be concerned at all! I wanted to share Julius's thoughts on this since it is a no BS response and I appreciate that and hopefully you will too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Julius's Email on Google phasing out third-party cookies: Don't listen to the "Cookieless" fearmongering Your social feeds are probably filled with posts and articles about Google starting to phase out 3rd party cookies. Together with that, I still see a lot of misleading or simply false "thoughts" and click baits.

Question about Search Ad Group
Got a website that sells variety of lifestyle products: artificial plant, wall clock, curling iron, couple jewelry etc. The site has total 3 categories and each of them have different type of product. Example: 'Baby Care' has: wrap blanket, stroller, plush toy. So if I make an ad group for 'baby care' should I add keywords related to all the products in 'baby care category'? Thanks in advance 😀

That'll be a bad idea, Austin is on point here.
Are Google search-ads the best-bet for targeting 'luxury homeowners'?
I overlook sales for a Seattle, WA based custom-tech integration company (home automation, A/V, smart-security, networking etc.). And our company is considering and exploring options for digital advertising and marketing in general. - We are trying to go after the luxury homeowner market. - We're looking for $50k above jobs. Ideally $150k-$300k - The custom-integration industry is highly dependent on word-of-mouth for having a filled pipeline. Specially for our industry, public-awareness is still a bottle-neck for what we see. Thus resulting in not enough search-volume on Google as-per our liking. And that coupled with us trying to hawk down the luxury-homeowners seems like a far-fetched idea. There's only 1 marketing agency dedicated to purely serving our industry, which shows that there isn't much scope of advertising in the custom integration market. I understand that Facebook ads probably won't work for us, as the people we're looking for won't be on Facebook (correct me if I'm wrong). But - 1. Are Google search ads even worth it for trying to sell such high-ticket services? 2. Considering Google and FB ads work great for Solar and HVAC installers, what kind of projects sizes (in terms of the budget that homeowners would usually have) should we be expecting if we try these advertising platforms for our integration firm? Are $10k to $15k still a far-fetch? Also, is it even possible to get 30+ conversions (form-fillup on landing page) per month when running Google ads, since that's the minimum requirement. 3. What marketing strategy and medium (Google, LinkedIn, etc.) would you suggest for our particular case? 4. Or should we avoid digital advertising and invest our marketing-budget into increasing the no. of referral-sources we have (architects, interior designers, builders, etc.)? I'll really really appreciate it if someone can address these 4 questions individually… That'll be super helpful. Thanks :)

How many Ad-groups? & How many Keywords in each of them?
Me and my wife are trying to learn and understand Google ads to boost our Florida based local Smart-tech-integration company (that does: Residential/commercial/yacht Automation; A/V -> home-theaters, media-rooms; Smart-Security; WiFi installs, etc) - https://hoppenhomesystems.com/ With an Ad-budget of $2,000, $3,000, $4,000, $5,000 and $6,500 respectively, serving 2 states in USA - (Avg. Keyword bid = $15) 1. How many ad groups to make? 2. How many keywords should we put in each of them? And how many to pick in total? 3. Maybe, some tips on selecting keywords, specifically for these local home service businesses…? After watching Austin's videos, I now already understand that I'm supposed to decide upon a few specific services I want to promote before beginning with Google ads… & I should aim for around 10 clicks a day… & I should only switch to tCPA after 30 conversions last month. But it'll be great if you could maybe take some time to answer these 3 down below, or even better - if you could maybe make a video covering that & setting up conversions, with any tips & thoughts you wanna share… Thanks 😁

Make 1 campaign for automation, 1 for A/V, 1 for security, and so on… Within each, make around 2-3 ad groups… based on searcher's intent (SIAGs) Within each ad group, add 6-15 phrase and exact match keywords Back-track how many ad groups you can target for your different budget, in order to achieve 10 clicks/day at $15/keyword Start with max clicks, then switch to tCPA after getting 30 conversions in each campaign.
