Honestly, I feel so grateful. This client reached out to me via Upwork. The deal is for me to write him 1-2 Facebook posts weekly. It got a little complicated since Upwork caused us some problems but we're working on fixing it. So happy I got hired in the first place.

@Manjeet Deshwal I agree with you it's not ideal. Since it's my first deal I agreed to it because after all, I've got no experience and I wanna gain it.
Is it kinda dead here?

@Aguilar Criscente you're welcome. we have to be comfortable to share our thoughts and doubts out here, because that's what the community is for, in addition to the actual reviews. ❤️

@Indrajeet Mane what're you doing?
Improve your copy with these KEY steps⏬
1. Know your target audience and write in a language that resonates with that target audience. Make them feel like you understand them and what they're going through in a language that suits that target audience. 2. Focus on the behaviours, fears and desires of the target audience. This is going to help you craft a compelling copy, or at least one that can pierce the emotions or thinking of the target audience to make them think you know what they're going through better than them or as good as they do and perhaps have a solution. 3. Craft Compelling Subject lines. A boring subject line or a subject line which is confusing or ambiguous would just push people away. Your subject line should immediately convey the main benefit or purpose of your email. Use Power Words: Words like "secret," "proven," "exclusive," or "guaranteed" can grab attention and evoke curiosity. 4. Focus on Benefits the reader gets from reading your email (What's in it for me). Explain how your product or service improves the reader's life, solves their problem, or fulfills a need. But before this, you can make the problem you're addressing seem like it'll only get worse if they don't listen to you. 5. Use proof, some justification or authority as to why the reader should trust you. After, finalize with an easy Call to Action. Email should not be too long. Nobody has the patience to read a long email that just popped up in their inbox. PS: No matter HOW CHALLENGING it may seem, just try your best. If you genuinely try your best 100% of the time, it'll be impossible to fail GO BEYOND YOUR LIMIT💪🔥

Step by Step Process to Improve your Copy Skills in 4 Weeks
Today, I felt like sharing a method I've used for the last couple of weeks, which helped me make progress in my copywriting journey, and unlock my full potential. I'm almost certain that any beginner who is just getting started and is having a hard time: A. Finding a niche B. Writing a single email C. Structuring an email correctly D. Building a portfolio (which is necessary) E. Not knowing who to outreach to Will benefit a LOT from this thread. If you feel like you fall under this category, I encourage you to keep on reading and pay attention to every single step... Step 1. First and foremost, spend an entire week consuming as much content as you possible can, starting with Tyson's 4-hour course. Invest your time watching videos about the basics of copywriting (e.g. email marketing) cause otherwise if you don't have the foundation on lock, you'll hardly make any progress going forward. Learn the principles of copy and abide by them at all times. One way to do that, is by studying emails written by professionals or by reading/reviewing other peers' copy. And while you're at it, get to know all the basic email structures and templates, leveraging Tyson's Copywriting Starter Kit. Step 2. After investing a whole week doing the above, by now you should have a better understanding of what copywriting is all about. During the second week, this is where you should cease watching content and instead focus on putting everything you've learned so far to the test. Because just like in a game of chess, taking action and trying things out is far superior to learning theory and sticking solely to it. If you're at this stage, here's a quick list of the things you can do: - Grab a sheet of paper, create five columns and name them after five different niches that come first to your mind. For example; real estate, relationships, finance, fitness and business coaches. - Then go on social media and find two different prospects for each of these categories and study their content. Filter them out based on: their followers engagement, their like to followers ratio, whether they're active enough, whether they're selling a program and write them down so you can revisit their profiles at any time. - After you've narrowed down your list and found 2 prospects for all your chosen niches, and you've studied their posts, reels, offers...Pick the niche that resonates more with you and the next day shift your focus to that exact niche and the prospects you have found within that niche. - Pick up their brand voice, get inspired by their content and then follow the 2-2-2 method. In which you force yourself to write 2 different emails with 2 different structures for both of those prospects, emulating their brand voice as close as you can. This shouldn't take you more than a day. - After you've finished, submit your copy and get it reviewed by the community to get insight and extra feedback on how to improve.
