Love the idea @Fernando Goncalves
šŸ§‘ā€šŸ« What would you like to review tomorrow?
We are covering a lot of different topics during our bootcamp assignments. There are some big ones like GitHub, Terraform and Packer. And, for those, we have supporting material. But there are also a lot of important details in each assignment. Things like user permissions in Linux or network ports. And these make all the difference for those aiming to become great AWS DevOps Engineers. So, tomorrow, we will try something different during our Q&A call. We will take the first 20~30 minutes to review a topic that you choose. The idea is to review it live and then jump to the Q&A. With that in mind... my question to you is: What would you like to review tomorrow? Let us know in the comments. šŸ‘‡ P.S. This is going to be our first Q&A call during weekdays... really looking forward to seeing you there!

Week 2 Assignment 1: Our Tech Blog
Our Tech blog is available live on CloudFront. The blog file was uploaded in an S3 bucket with static website enabled. Then a CloudFront distribution was created that used the static website endpoint. The screenshot shows our blog online. You can visit it at https://dcsqidu4nt6zo.cloudfront.net/

Great work @Franklin Afolabi
šŸš€ Ready to Build with DevOps!
šŸ‘‹ Hi, Iā€™m Stephen Frimpong! I live in Ghana, and I plan on becoming an AWS DevOps Engineer by June 2025. I want to get these 3 things from the community: 1. Insights on mastering AWS tools and services. 2. Support and tips for building efficient CI/CD pipelines. 3. Networking opportunities with fellow aspiring and experienced DevOps engineers. For fun, I like to do these 3 things: 1. Explore new tech tools and software. 2. Watch sci-fi movies and documentaries. 3. Play soccer with friends. Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Welcome to the community @Stephen Addai Frimpong
Week 1 Demo time
It was an interesting time setting up the landing zone for the startup. A management account was created from scratch using a credit card. The account was configured to us MFA to improve the security of the root account. A monthly budget of $5 was created to monitor the spending A landing zone was setup using the AWS Control Tower and the log archives along with the audit accounts were created in the process. A development account was created from the Account Factory in Control Tower. IAM Identity Center was configured to use all the accounts. Lessons: I got stuck in the implementation of reducing the config cost. Unknown to me I was running the script from the Development account that was just created instead of running the script from the management account. It will be paying a whooping $3 šŸ¤‘šŸ™„ for my not figuring it out on time. No sweet treat for me this weekend because the money will go to AWS. Ready for the next challenge.
