Exporting Specific Pages of Power BI Reports with Filters to PDF in Azure Fabric notebook
we have a specific requirement that I’m hoping to get some guidance on from this community. if anyone has done this kind of scenarios. We need to automate process of reading the existing power bi report through code, and apply for specific user filter within specific page, and then export the filtered report as a PDF. The goal is to send this PDF via email to the appropriate users. What I have tried Able to read the report using powerbiclient with providing group id and reportid to connect. Within fabric notebook Challenges I’m facing: Navigating to the specific page. Applying dynamic filters. Download as pdf and write into Lakehouse. NOTE: We need to achieve this through code implementation due to our organization being small and preferring to avoid the costs associated with purchasing a high SKU license.

@Satish Utnal 1. Explore subscriptions feature from Power BI service. 2. Explore Paginated report visual. Set Up guidance: Please go to semantic model on Power BI service and explore data— create paginated report. You need to set up parameters so slicers or filter selection from your PBIX flows into paginated report. You can then go back into your PBIX edit mode and call this paginated report as a visual(you have paginated visual). You can export and also set up subscriptions(emails) on top of this visual as this would pixel perfect for printing. Once you do this in Power BI service, you can also download paginated report which is rdl file. Download and install Report Builder available in MS Store. Open this rdl and you can develop full blown Paginated report with all fancy visuals however this needs some learning and extra work as it is not straightforward. You are going back to good old days of traditional BI.

@Will Needham thanks for sharing this document. I clearly have misread the requirement and might have caught some nerves lol
Question for those who passed the DP-600
I'm curious what kind of prep and experience you had under your belt before you took and passed the exam? For example, I've taken Microsoft Learn learning path courses. I have 3 client projects we're using data engineering within Fabric on, which I oversee as technical advisor, and I've taken William's 6.5 hour course and am about to start a Udemy prep course. I don't have a ton of python experience, but I have my PL-300 and have worked in Power BI for 6 years. I'm worried I don't have enough experience with python to pass one of the sections of the exam and am looking for input on others' experience and success with the exam.

Hello I just get certified fabric analytics engineer associate. I would like to thank @Will Needham for the well explained 6+hours youtube video on dp600, it Was really helpful. I got total of 61 questions (1 study case) and scored 858/1000. I found that the questions need a bit of focus otherwise you will get them wrong. Wishing people on their learning journey all the best. I will continue you practice with @Will Needham to get Better and Better.
