My learnings from Module 1: 1. Though a PM's day-to-day work might differ in varying contexts, environments, companies, etc., the ultimate goal is creating value for the user and the business. 2. Essential steps of every PM role: a) Identifying the right users, b) Understanding users' needs/challenges, c) Solve users' needs, d) Bring value to the business 3. Real world work process of a PM: Planning>>Alignment>>Execution>>Learning & Evaluation 4. PM define 'why' something should be built and EM + DM define 'what' and 'how' to build and together those 3 define 'when' to complete 5. I feel growth in any area like learning, designation, the complexity of work, etc can be acquainted with growth in a PM career. Sometimes it depends on what one is looking for based on personal goals 6. Fundamental skills: a) Communication, b) Product Sense, c) Execution. I feel one more skill which is a must for a PM is 'Relentlessness'. Keep going on in every situation. 7. Skills required vary based on the level of company and self-career

Hey folks! Abhishek here, a tech enthu based out of India. A designer turned PM having 6 years of experience working in high-paced startups. Last year I got the opportunity to build a product from scratch for my client and scaled the team to 8 people. My goal here is to crack interviews with established companies by solidifying my fundamentals of PM and getting connected with like-minded people. Fun facts: - I have been volunteering in a large NGO since the age of 15. I love doing social work. - Also, big fan of animated movies. I have watched almost all major ones :)
