If you could give one piece of advice to someone new to Reiki, what would it be? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

@Evren Reiki Beautifully said, and I couldnโ€™t agree more. Reiki is indeed a two-way journey, while offering healing to others, you inevitably touch deeper layers of your own being. Itโ€™s about growth, connection, and trusting the process, both within yourself and in those you work with. Thank you for this reminder to embrace the journey fully. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

@Carsten Schulz Yes, I agree, I like to use palo santo after a session to cleanse myself and the space. โœจ
Hi
Iโ€™m Petra, and I live in Huizen, NL (โ€™t Gooi). A year ago, we bought a second home in Italy, and now I enjoy working from both places. In 2020, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given two years to live. But I trusted my intuition, changed my lifestyle, and turned inward to heal. It worked, last month I was declared healthy, and my perspective on life completely shifted. Now, Iโ€™m driven to help others reconnect with themselves through reiki and lifestyle changes. Reiki was new to me until I joined Justinโ€™s Reiki 1 course in January. By the first break, I knew I wanted to become a masterโ€”it felt like my true path. Since then, as a Reiki Master, Iโ€™ve seen how powerful reiki can be for my clients. Iโ€™m excited to be part of this community and passionate about making reiki accessible. I recently launched my first online course and plan to offer reiki sessions in various locations as โ€œspiritual exercise.โ€ Iโ€™m also eager to learn how to build a thriving reiki practice.

@Carsten Schulz Thank you, Iโ€™m glad you find it inspiring that reiki has been a part of my healing journey. I do want to emphasize, though, that I am also deeply grateful for conventional medical care, especially since I was fortunate enough to undergo a treatment through a clinical trial. Both have played an invaluable role in my recovery. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
Looking back & moving forward ๐ŸŒ
As the year is almost coming to an end, itโ€™s natural to take a moment to look back. What moments made you happy? What surprised you? What do you want to do more off next year or what would you do differently? This Sunday, weโ€™re taking the time reflect and share (and so much more)! Do you have it market in your calendar yet? โš ๏ธ Looking forward getting together! ๐Ÿ’œ Its going to be cosmic!

Deep Question ๐ŸŒŠ
Happy Monday! โœจ So I came across a video today where somebody asked: Who are you if you are not for the other? So I thought I drop this deep question here for the start of the week, would love to read your thoughts about this. For me: I am still figuring it out. Either way I am who I am and I am always enough <โ€” (one of my all time favorite affirmations).

Deep Question ๐ŸŒŠ

@Sumayya Habieb Thatโ€™s such a powerful question to sit with. For me, it feels like peeling back layers of who I am beyond the roles I play for others; partner, friend, parent, coach. Who am I when Iโ€™m not defined by those roles? I think Iโ€™m still discovering that, and itโ€™s an ongoing journey. What I do know is that underneath it all, Iโ€™m someone who values connection, growth, and authenticity. And like you, I remind myself that who I am at my core is always enough. ๐Ÿค—
The path of Reiki
1. Whatโ€™s one way youโ€™ve surprised yourself during your journey of self-discovery or healing?

One way Iโ€™ve surprised myself during my journey of self-discovery and healing is by discovering how resilient and open I truly am. When I was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer, I initially thought my path was set. But through that experience, I found strength I didnโ€™t know I had, and it led me to explore new paths like Reiki and holistic healing. I never imagined Iโ€™d become a Reiki Master or start a coaching practice to help others, but this journey has taught me to embrace growth and trust in the unexpected. So grateful ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
