What is your favorite quote?
Recently, I came across a quote that really stuck with me, "Don't be disappointed by rain when you wish for flowers." It oh-so beautifully explains what I have been telling everyone in every single one of my posts, along with my life as well. You can never expect everything to go smoothly, no matter how certain you are about life. Have it be your career, job, family, school, projects or even a homemade pie. When you wish for something good, the bad needs to come for you to understand the value of the good. The flower you are wishing for can only nourish when there will be rain. Without rain, it may grow but not for long. AND it also needs water, care, and a little bit of uncertainty to get to its full potential. Maybe it'll get smooshed by some unknown stranger's feet, or a tsunami may come. Who knows? maybe it'll grow back or be alive no matter what the circumstance is. The chances are always 50-50. You CANNOT predict everything, plan everything, or fight every drawback. What you can do is just try. It is the best way to understand yourself. I always perceive life as Whenever something good happens, something bad will also, and whenever something bad happens, something good will also. Be the flower and embrace whatever you come across. The end :)

How do scholarships work?
Ik it's still not the time for me to worry about future college scholarships. However, coming from a middle-income family in Bangladesh, my family will not be able to afford my college outside of the country ( if I get in ). So I wanna learn about the scholarship process. Especially MIT and Caltech. Just wanna know how it works. Like do I apply before I get in or after? or is it given based on academic credentials or income? and more.

@Aji Ig How did you know?
The most Excruciating Question to ask.
Today I will not give advice but rather make you understand us, people with too many interests. As a person with so many interests and hobbies, I always get very anxious when someone asks me, "So what is your hobby? " How do I respond that I don't have A hobby, I have too many hobbies. Singing, Dancing, Rapping, Debating, Acting, Writing, Painting, Sketching, Character designing, Video Editing, Programming, Learning a new language, Karate, playing Football and even sewing are part of my thousands of hobbies and the fact that I have tried all of them scares me. That's why most of the time, I start the convo. Cause Ik I will be interested in whatever they say. I watch kdramas, cdramas, jdramas, Bollywood, Hollywood, anime, manhwas, mangas, play video games(If you play HOK please tell me), marvel-DC type movies, listen to K music, C music, J music, American ones, Indian ones, Bangal ones, Even some Tagalog and Philippine ones. So, please don't ask me that question, just lemme start the convo if you may. 🗿

How to Visualize Data?
Welcome to 'Me giving advice as my mum chases me down to study.' I already have ranted too many times, so let me give y'all some actual advice. 1. Using Accurate Visual Channels. In terms of Visualization of data you need to understanding which channels are more accepted by the audience. Here is the list from most accurate to least, Position-length-angle/slope-Area-Volumn-color/Density. What I mean is you know like one circle is lower and the other is higher and if they are representing a database then it's position based visualization. You get the point. 2. Choosing the right color palette. You need to choose color palletes based off of some pattern. Like sequential pattern, cyclic pattern or a diverging one. 3. Making it accessible to everyone. In terms of choosing a color I would suggest choose those that even people with color blindness or deficiency can understand the data or message your are trying to reach. I person use thermal colors, vidris or cividis for this reason. 4. Making you charts interesting. We add an attention grabber in every essay but why not try making data charts attention grabbing too? For instance, rather than the title of the chart being 'Population of the Continents', You can use 'Asia is the most populous Continent' right away makes your audience not only understand the chart but also grab their interest. 5. Reducing Unnecessary Chart title. MAKE YOUR CHARTS SIMPLE. The less the better. Keep the data sets, reduce the titles and extra lines. It will look much cleaner and understandable than before. Trust me. 6. Lastly, don't use one chart for too many data sets. You can divide them into multiple ones. Your main goal is to reach your data to your audience not create artworks with charts. I used to do those and they looked pretty but even I couldn't Understand them. So if possible divide them into some parts. That's all. I have been ranting too much, so this is my token of appreciation.✨🗿 Thank you for reading and as usual if you have any other opinions or wanna add some more points feel free to to do so. Imma go and finish my assignment. It's 1.31 rn 🏃.

Life is unfair.
Welcome to another episode of 'Me giving advice as my mom chases me to study." So today's one is more of a life advice and less of an academic one. Why did I think of this? Here's why- I went to a debate competition today. As a nervous fella, I usually stutter a lot when under pressure, yet today I did so well that even I was surprised. My team was in the proposition with lots of good arguments and I myself pointed out almost all of their arguments and proved them wrong, while my other teammates also pointed out their some. Our opposition team made mistake after mistake. They didn't answer my Point of information or question which usually deducts marks, they couldn't finish in their given time, which also deducts marks, their 3rd speaker started speaking in the motion's proposition and said sorry in the middle of the debate for doing so and they didn't utter the main concept of the debate and went along with only explaining that one word. In the end, the opposition team cried cause they didn't do well. But guess what? They won. Even they were surprised at how they had won. The judges gave pieces of advice before our results and most of them were for the opposition team as they made many mistakes. The funny thing is, the judges even praised our 2nd speaker and me the 3rd speaker. I mean like how? Anyway, the main point is life is unfair. There is nothing you can do but move on. p.s. this feels more like a rant and less like advice, now that I read it.🤡

@Chinnu B, Yeah. It made me realize that I might not be as bad a debater as I thought I was. So, truly no experience in life is vain. (and no I never survive these chases 🤡)
