Hey, guys. Here's another free plugin Universal Audio is giving away until Christmas Eve. It's their plate reverb. I'm not sure whether or not it's legit, but Universal Audio does have somewhat of a reputation. Even Dylan uses their Tape Recorder. And their Century Tube Channel Strip is a solid one, too. I hadn't opened it before I posted this last night. It was late and I was done working on the mix I just finished a minute ago. That plugin is trash. I've seen reverb plugins that are free all the time that are better than that. There are no numbers to measure a pre-delay, decay, wet/dry mix, nothing. Just like 5 knobs and switches all based off of guess work. The only way you'll be able to use it, unless you have ears like a dog, are to use the presets.

Just saw this video released a couple of days ago comparing an original digital master to vinyl, reel-to-reel, cassette, apple lossless and spotify best quality. I find it interesting because a few years ago I compared three copies I have of Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd - being vinyl, CD and apple lossless - my thoughts really eched the finding in this video, but of course when I mentioned this online many said "different mixes" etc. And yet.
